I-TrendStrategy is a powerful VertexFX client side auto-trading robot based on the Instantaneous Trendline indicator that provides accurate entries and exits with minimal lag. The market consists of a trend mode and a cycle mode. The Instantaneous Trendline uses the trend mode and filters the cycle mode to generate the trading signals.
It is calculated using the Hilbert Transform and the dominant cycle period is measured using the Homodyne Discriminator. In the next step, we average the price over the (integer) number of bars of the smoothed dominant cycle. Finally this average is smoothed using a 4-bar WMA to generate the Instantaneous Trendline. It has a lag of 2-3 bars, but produces excellent signals in trending markets, especially at the beginning of the trends.

BUY - Enter BUY trade when indicator line turns BLUE. Exit BUY trade when indicator line turns RED.
SELL - Enter SELL trade when indicator line turns RED. Exit SELL trade when indicator line turns BLUE.

Inputs -
a) PERIOD - The default period of the Instantaneous Trendline.
b) LOT_SIZE - The lot size of the trade.
c) TP_POINTS - The take profit in points.
d) SL_POINTS - The stop loss in points.
e) MAGIC - The unique identifier for trades generated by this robot.
f) POINT_DEFAULT - The point value of the current instrument.
