To open an account ECN in TICKMILL only require a deposit of $ 100 funds. But it all depends on the trader to choose a broker that will be used. we should do some research and look at the reviews from fellow traders

It is a really great luxury to have ECN broker and it only gets better if it is allowed to start off with low amount, I am lucky that I work with OctaFX broker, it is a really incredible company with having ECN account which can be operated with just 5 dollars, so that’s pretty good starting figure especially for newbies. I have been using this account from last few years and it works perfectly. ECN broker will give his traders the best spreads possible. Thanks to the high liquidity provided by the ECN system, those spreads are pretty small. An ECN broker will usually display the spreads as he gets them and will then charge a commission on each trade. Under conditions of high volatility the ECN's spread will widen as a result of low supply and demand. I believe this is the biggest mistake we make, we often think that low spread broker means ECN, but this is incorrect and there are endless examples when we have seen brokers having low spreads yet are not trustworthy or ECN, so that’s why I first locate whether the broker is actually a ECN or not and then comes spread and all that things. In this way you will going to know what leverage you going to use depends on what strategy you going to use. I now use the leverage of 1: 500 in TICKMILL. I think this suits me leverage applied with lot 0.01 in ECN accounts. I am now comfortable using a broker. The first time I use a demo account for testing of the strategies to be used. until now I comfortable using my broker with additional free swap account that can be used.
