Thread: What is Forex Trading?

FOREX, (FOReign EXchange market) or FX, is an international exchange market where stocks and shares are not traded, but currency. The return for the investor is not in the value of the currency per se, but rather the relative exchange value of one currency against another currency. Therefore, Forex trading is always expressed in pairs such as Euro/US Dollar (EUR/USD) or US Dollar/Japanese Yen (USD/JPY).

Forex Trading is trading currencies from different countries against each other. Forex is acronym of Foreign Exchange.


For example, in Europe the currency in circulation is called the Euro (EUR) and in the United States the currency in circulation is called the US Dollar (USD). An example of a forex trade is to buy the Euro while simultaneously selling US Dollar. This is called going long on the EUR/USD.

Forex trading is a business that has a lot of advantages and risks, with the advantage that it is to be successful we need to learn a lot and practice trading so well that will allow us to succeed in this business. To start trading then we can try to trade using small capital first

I agree with all the above mentioned statements and I must say that Forex Market is a massive market and provides opportunity for traders, chose a good broker like FBS Markets

If you want to be a part of forex traders, you should go get yourself familiar with forex and forex trading, create a demo account (most brokers provide it) and go train your trading skills.
