Thread: Attaching mq4 file...

Any expert can share how you attached a file with extension .mq4 to your MT4 trading platform. When I open the demo acct, I can see the file under Expert Advisor but when I attached to the existing chart, nothing happen.

If the file is an expert advisor, place it in the experts folder. If it's an indicator it goes in experts/indicators.
You can then just double click the expert or indicator in the ********* window to add to a chart.

i have done what you have described but not successful. When I select "Attach to chart", the chart still remain the same with no changes. I'm using MT4 Build 216 Interbank FX. I have also search on the net on how to do it and follow their step by step....still face problem.....

I think you just have it in the wrong folder, or the custom indicator or expert is faulty.
Do you have a link to it? I'll give it a try.
