Default Anyone here into day trading full time?

I want to know whether anyone is into stock market and day trading full time rather than doing it part-time and have had good success in it. I want to plunge into stock market full time soon and would prefer to get your valued opinions on joining stock market and day trading full time.

I have been into full time day trading for about a year.I found that there are very gloomy times in between.Maybe an year was too less a time to understand concept of full time day trading.I then went back to part time day trading which suits me better.

100% of my income is from forex trading but not all from just trading. I'm also a successful IB and running an office for a major broker.

Just remember, forex is risky and although trading can be a good investment, it's not the holy grail of earnings because of the risk involved. However, if you have adequate capital, use good money management and trade conservatively, you can earn constant income from trading alone.

Day traders often deal in a small number of companies or commodities – sometimes just one – and develop detailed knowledge of how those particular assets respond to events, according to Stephen Barber, the head of research at Selftrade, another broker. This allows them to predict how the price would react and therefore trade profitably.

Becoming a full-time or ‘professional’ Forex trader is something that almost every trader wants to achieve but that very few ever do. I am the onethat tryingto be a full-time forex trader. I think if we want to have a realistic chance at making a full-time living from the markets we are going to have to approach our trading with a disciplined and patient mindset. We need to understand that there are no “magic-bullets” or “Holy-Grail” trading systems, despite what we have probably read on other Forex websites.
