unfortunately, this is not correct. There were quite a few programs which were hosted by Singapore domain name provider (like Katz), and they have disappeared...(OneInvest...)

I agree with what you say but, if you choose to, you could get details of the registrant of the domain via the authorities.

If you configure your preferences in e-gold properly, it indeed becomes a safe option. Supplying ID proof does not equate to being safe. This is just another stumbling block - thanks to THE PATRIOT ACT.
