I trade online & it's my only source of income right now and quite a good one so far!


Anyone here trades in forex, or is learning it, or is interested, or tried an online trading demo account?

It would be nice to know others who are interested!

I'm trying a demo account, and I think I'm learning, slowly, the point of Forex. I thought it might be interesting for some of us to gather in the chatroom and talk about the trades that we are making live. Maybe we could learn from one another how to really be profitable in Forex. If others are interested we could set up a date and time and go from there.

I did start learning forex about a year ago. I'm glad i discovered it hehe..

I played with a 50k$ demo account with refco, made 100% profit the first day, then it was all losses ;) . Beginner's luck!

Then I took some lessons and got to watch some traders do their analysis live and got to learn a lot from this.

Never actually traded real money. the game is different.. the trades you would have risked in the demo maybe you would not with real money. Takes alot of confidence in your skills.

ive been trading and approach it from the technical analysis side. Most of my time is analysing charts and writing programs and backtesting them. At work i sit and watch the system, note down flaws and try to improve it. Its profitable but could be better and needs supervision. Now reached the point where im confident and become more and more conservative in my approach spend a lot of time watching the market waiting for a good setup - that where having the indicators alert you is crucial. the chat room is a great idea. Actually... i have a domain i can set one up on.. let me look into it.
