BlackPeopleMeet.com is owned by PeopleMedia, the sister company of Match.com. You can look at the many poor reviews about Match.com on this website and learn about BlackPeopleMeet.com. When I ended paying for my membership, they emailed me stating that a lot of women viewed my ad and they sent messages. They told me to pay money to reactivate my membership then they would allow me to read my messages. So when my ad was no longer active, they had it up on the site to fool women into thinking they could communicate with me to lead to dates. That also means when I was a member, I was sending messages to inactive members who could not answer me because the women were not currently paying a credit card bill to BPM. You see ads that have nicknames like girlsname38 and the site says the woman is 40 years old. That means she has not been active for 2 years or she would have changed her name to girlsname39 or girlsname40. I was on for over a year and I found the same ads repeatedly sent to me as "matches" even after I sent messages to them and they did not message me back. I blocked their emails and looked for an online dating site not under this conglomerate. I plan to also go to meetings on meetup.com to make sure I am in a room with genuine women. If you want to try online dating, I advise you to avoid sites owned by Match.com because you will run into the same problems. I have tried Match.com and Plenty of Fish so I know what I am talking about.
