So you may be thinking what is so different about a Protocol named after an Italian rice dish. We can't express it in one single sentence because like the flavourful dish that is our namesake, the offerings are as complex and rich as flavourful.
Decentralised Finance, affectionately known within the community as DeFi, is a very new and sometimes confusing space for many. Spawned into relevance by MakerDAO in 2017 when the first “money lego” was laid, DeFi have already seen, in its very short span of existence, technological mutations stretching 3 generations.
