BitLeu is an ASIC and MultiPool resistant coin that uses a unique combination of hashing and mixing functions known as Scrypt Jane.

Thus, BitLeu is a new open source peer-to-peer crypto currency, owned by citizens and businesses of Romania and their friends worldwide.

These people are not affiliated in any way with the actual government and money-thirsty leaders. The chosen president will be a well-known and respected person with a high academic rank.

Everyone should be aware that the whole BitLeu concept is not designed with a mine-and-dump idea in mind. Low block rewards slowly increasing for the first year coupled with the increase of the N-factor will not allow huge farm owners to dump big amounts on exchanges, thus leaving the coin with a very little amount to trade.

Bitleu uses Scrypt-Jane library mining with Proof Of Work having a variable n factor.
GPU mining power will decrease slowly and GPU mining will become a lot slower than it was during the start.

This period of mining decreasing power coupled with slowly increased rewards will slowly close the gap between CPU and GPU mining, resulting in more profitable and fair mining rewards for CPU miners also. GPU mining will still always be faster than CPU mining, but the modified nFactor will give Bitleu more long-term scarcity and value.

The BitLeu Foundation

The 2% of total coins will go into the new created BitLeu Foundation's fund, which will take care of the delivery and support the spread of coins to population and will have an open book for all the spending. Also, the fund will be used for organization's operational costs used for development and maintenance of BTL. The Foundation can only pay its employees with BTL. It cannot sell them to pay its employees with other currencies.

48% pre-mine will be used to be distributed to Romanians through the Foundation, as follows: the Romanians above 18 years old, the Businesses, and the Development Team, as explained below.

The Romanians
The premined coins will be distributed to National citizens of Romania via their national ID number as proof of identity to receive coins, in the next years, making sure that the coin will have a wide spread. A database will be created for this purpose and the Foundation will play its role in making sure the spread is fair and there will be no people receiving the same amount of money twice. Each Romanian will receive 100 BitLeu coins. The first delivery will take place at the 1st December 2014, the National Day of Romania!

The Businesses
New and established Companies owned by Romanian entrepreneurs within the country and in partnership with foreign friends worldwide will claim be able to claim the premined coins. Only companies that present viable projects developed and powered by BTL will receive the funds, in BTL, of course. Each company will have to use owners IDs and a registration or tax code as a proof of receiving coins. For the first stage, the final date of presenting your BTL business plans on the crowdfunding platform online will be 1st December 2014, the National Day of Romania. Accordingly to the spread of coins for business purpose, there will be more stages, 1st December 2015, etc. This will be announced in detail on BitLeu crowdfunding platform.

The 1st Development Team
In order to increase the actual value of the BitLeu, an amount of premined coins will be allocated to the creator of the coin and to the primary development team, as follows:
- The development of the coin itself: rewards, marketing and advertisements, coding/applications, lawyer consultation for the next steps following the launch.
- The startup and development of the ecological and energy investment projects.
- Any other things pertaining to the development of BitLeu currency.
- Operational costs – this includes rewards and crowdfunding perks for community members who will help the BTL with equipment, servers, development and maintenance of BTL, the BTL Fund operations and so on.

The rewards and perks will be of minimum 1000BTL up to 500,000BTL depending on the contribution made to grow the coin by a person or a community.

What Is Different About BitLeu?

In many people's opinion, the value of a commodity/fiat is something just perceived and not necessarily real. What stands behind the value of it is an idea. The idea of a corrupt system cannot make a strong value for the currency issued by that organization/structure.

Many are afraid about pre-mine, but as anyone can see, BitLeu will have some advantages that not many of the new alt coins have, such as protection from ASICs, spread, a community and a real person as the leader of the Foundation who will guide its members to success.

The Foundation will have its own constitution and it will gather members in associations that will invest their crypto-currency in real-life investment projects, located in Romania and in foreign countries so any administration will not be able to perform bad actions against these ventures. The members of associations will be able to vote on decisions pertaining to each project.

The business projects developed through the legally registered company in the UK, BitEnergi Ltd., will be transparent to its investors and all the profits from these projects will be returned to the private or crowd investors, depending on the constitution of that business organization. Every member involved in a project will be able to actively participate with ideas and physical work in order to succeed with the project.

Through legal crowdfunding platforms any person living in European Union will be able to invest BTL in order to become shareholder in the BitEnergi UK Company.

More details of these projects will come in the next future, after first consulting lawyers, naming the President of the Foundation and the board members. The available mined coins can be already invested in these projects as soon as the Company and the Foundation will create the framework, which will increase the credibility of the currency. Be aware of the fact that this currency/idea was certainly built with the though of being sustainable and not a 'get rich quick scheme'.

What makes our coin different from other crypto-currencies?

BitLeu Delivery - 1st December 2014, the National Day of Romania!

The purpose of the "BitLeu Delivery" is to put a significant quantity of BTL in the hands of as many Romanian citizens and businesses as possible.


Phase 1 - Business adoption of BTL as method of payment

Starting with 15th of April 2014, we plan to distribute an incentive of 50,000 BTL to any business that has successfully implemented BTL as a payment method, limited to the first 10 businesses. Launching Phase 1 at least couple months before Phase-II will strengthen BTL as a currency, making it geared more towards real world commerce, rather than speculative in nature. By the time BTL arrives in the hands of the consumers, there will already be many business projects accepting the BTL as means of payment.


Phase 2 - Individuals
Phase 2 is a Delivery of 100 BTL per Romanian citizen who is able to identify him/her to the satisfaction of the system, for up to 10,000,000 people (about 75% of Romanians that are above 18 years old). This action will be done through a secure online platform, with similar identification system as payment processors or banks are using today. Phase 2 will be divided into few stages, by the end of which unclaimed BTL will be made available to more people. This is of course the most important component for the launch of BTL, and this will be performed by the Foundation. BTL coins remaining after Phase 2 will go into the BitLeu Foundation's Fund.

Phase 3 - The BitLeu Fund: BTLBC / BTLIF / BTLRF
A. BTLBC - BitLeu Business Credit

This BitLeu Fund will be responsible for the BitLeu Delivery to the Companies that have a sustainable business plan, powered by BTL. It will take care about the BTL Fund for economic development of the BTL market, by using BTL.
B. BTLIF - BitLeu Investment Fund
This fund will invest in Romanian startups, and also will donate to charity and support projects that promote BTL. We work with a lawyer to open our own Registry of Commerce and all startup businesses powered by BitLeu Investment Fund and BitLeu Business Credit will be recorded in this registry.
C. BTLRF - BitLeu Retirement Fund

All Romanians and their worldwide Friends will be able soon to make savvy financial investments that respect and improve the environment. Hi everyone,

I will be the person responsible with the BitEnergi corporation and project in the Philippines and I will do my best to serve the interest of all investors.

There was a three hours preliminary meeting with a lawyer in the Philippines in order to establish the required things to start an agri-business corporation. One of the important points of the discussion was pertaining to the legality of owning the trees by the investors. The answer was that any person can legally own the trees by having a contract with the corporation. One of the requirements for harvesting the trees is to have a Timber License Agreement with the government which is not hard to get. DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) will issue this Agreement.
I still need to have a longer meeting with the lawyer and the accountant to discuss it more.

My visit to the Office of Provincial Agriculturist in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines, brought me face to face with a wonderful person: Engr. Antonio Maluto, Head of Nursery of the office.
I will quote his words regarding the growing of the mahogany trees:

"As an employee of the Philippines government, i feel that one of my duties is to sustain any environmentally friendly projects that would be established in the Philippines. I will make sure that there will be enough Mahogany seedlings provided for this venture and help in finding a good silviculture engineer in order to provide technical support for the eco-friendly endeavour."

I will attach his picture where he is holding a Swietenia Macrophylla seedling, probably one of the ones that will be planted on our pilot plantation.



I would like to describe him a little:
He is one of the government employees in the Philippines that show exactly what the meaning of duty is. This kind of people will almost jump out of their chairs in order to serve you, something that I did not see in European countries. Besides that, I have been offered coffee and biscuits without even him to know what I came in the office for. He is not the only employee that offered me food, it is one of their strong traditions to give food to a guest.

As of now I am working on the script for the movie describing the Mahogany plantation project in the Philippines. it will take at least one more week before the movie will come online. On Sunday we will take few more videos in the beach side and today (Saturday) we will arrange the voice-over for the movie.

It is good to know that the local government and the law here will allow for investors and encourage new businesses probably more than in any other country. They have some of the most amazing workers I have ever seen. After a lot of time spent here, I do believe that on average they are better workers than the ones from other countries. They are trainable, smart and pack a lot of respect for the employer and for the customer. I have rarely seen this common attitude prevailing in the workers in my home country. It is probably a matter of education. Here, this is the norm, to treat each other in a nice way, be respectful, helpful and never talk bad to the ones around you.
It is not that I advertise their country but what I say is really true and it took me some years to understand many things in their culture.

The Mahogany plantation project in the Philippines will be based on the same business model that many farms in other countries are applying and you can do your own research by typing in google 'own mahogany trees', 'own teak trees' and other keywords. They ask for huge amounts of money for each tree and promise three times more than the real return, being very optimistic regarding the tree's growth. I do not endorse such type of marketing which will deceive the people that are not knowledgeable about the growth of the trees in the tropical areas. I advise to research any claims of huge price or huge growth of the trees before going with any similar endeavor. From my research, which consisted in checking the sizes of real trees, the mahogany tree will reach an average of 35 centimeters diameter after 12 years, maybe more if grown in a controlled plantation that uses inter-cropping to fix the nitrogen in the soil which will give a huge boost to the growth of this tree.

The business will look for investors from outside the crypto world so it will not be dependant on any crypto-currency. I am sure that we can have a better model and better offer than any other agribusiness available around as of now.

Another good news, as discussed before, our Mahogany and other Trees trading platform will be done in August 2014. Since then anyone will be able to buy and sell the mahogany trees instantly, so you do not need to wait 12 years when the trees are mature and able to be cut and processed, but you can sell them anytime at the markets price. We cooperate in this project with few big guys and companies from Germany, Poland, Ireland, Romania and Philippines; I will reveal their names later

More and more people and businesses become aware about the advantages of using BTC for payment and financial purposes, and we have a Romanian legal very strong exchange that offer BTC and Romanian currency, the new LEU (or RON). I know the owner of that exchange BTCXCHANGE.ro and did talk to him to list BTL near BTC and LEU, and we still have to implement the payment gateway for Bitleu then it will be accepted on this exchange. We have now a good programmer working on our own payment system in BTL, this may take about 2-3 month until is done, then Bitleu will be on the wave :)

One of our future plans is to extend also to the Republic of Moldova, as Leu is also their national coin. We consider them Romanian also and we will not make any difference between them and us.
