Small update to our distribution system:
Hello,
This week we were very busy setting up the coin distribution system and it's administration system that comes with it. We've taken a lot of feedback from the forum and have been been brainstorming a lot on how to prevent fraud when it comes to claiming shares of Electronic Gulden.
Adjustments made:
- We will ask you to upload a Identification (ID, Passport)
- We will ask for only one bill (with your name and address on it)
- We raised the amount from 25 to 50 EFL
- We created user friendly manuals for our audience that allow for quick and easy wallet setup.
Every Dutch citizen will be able to claim their free share of Electronic Gulden. We will keep handing out shares until the 50% premine has been distributed. This means our distribution process is based on a First-come, first-served (FCFS) system. 210k citizens will eventually get a share in our country, making it more scarce.
From Sunday 30 March 2014, there will be a forum on the website as well with lots of sticky posts to help each other with questions.
Goal
As earlier announced, we hereby introduce the Electronic Gulden. Our goal is to bring the Dutch ƒ Gulden (English: ƒ Guilder) back in an electronic version. The Netherlands had used the Gulden (Gouden Florijn) from the Middle Ages, to 2002. In 2002 the government decided to replace the Gulden for the euro. This replacement had a negative influence on the economy for the Dutch citizens. The Electronic Gulden is the Dutch cryptocurrency, bringing back its nostalgic value.
Every country has its own economy and therefore we feel having individual coins for each country, working better than global currencies. We believe that we live in revolutionairy times, where a cryptocurrency as the Electronic Gulden (EFL) can have a major impact on our economy.

Distribution
Distribution will start on the 30th of March. Using our verified proof of residence system, Dutch citizens will be able to request 50 EFL by uploading a scan of their ID card and one utility bill (other charged bills are also allowed). These are needed to make sure that everybody receives their share of Electronic Gulden only once. Please note that our distribution process is based on a First-come, first-served (FCFS) system. This means that not every Dutch citizen will be able to claim their free share of Electronic Gulden. We will keep handing out shares untill the 50% premine has been distributed.
Work in progress
We believe that the Electronic Gulden only has real value when it can be used on daily bases rather than just a currency to speculate with. This means it is important that both consumers and merchants can use Electronic Gulden in a user-friendly environment. For this we are working on tools such as a Online Merchant System, a smartphone wallet, and a Tablet Merchant that you can set up in your local store.
