As your cleaning service gets bigger, it maybe unbelievable but sometimes it will be harder to book clients because they have more queries. When you used to clean alone, you only vouched for yourself and for no other employee. This changes when you get a team together. For homeowners, it is riskier when more unfamiliar people are roaming around their houses so you should also understand that.

However, these questions should be expected because it is really part of your business’s growth.

Some of the questions your clients may usually ask are:

1. What is your guarantee?
In a maid services, you will need to provide a guarantee to your client, whether it’s only you who cleans houses or your crew does. You can opt to give a money back guarantee for an unsatisfactory service. But generally, the guarantee would be to send the crew back to fix the problem, so long as the call is received within the day.

2. How long have you been in business for?
For your regular clients, this is no longer a concern since the already know about your business’s history. But for new clients, honesty would be best. You can tell them you are new in the business and started a few months back, that you are starting to expand and that you’d appreciate if they let your do the cleaning for them. Offer them an introductory rate that they cannot say “no” to.

3. Can you give references?
Ask a few of your regular clients to be your references for your business. If they are satisfied with the services you render, then there should be no problem. In fact, this kind of business run on referrals, so this question would be more or less, rare.

4. Do you have insurance?
Not all cleaning services have liability insurance so it would be best if your get one for you and your employees. Your clients would be impressed by this and would automatically decide that you are responsible and thus worth trusting.

5. Are your employees bonded?
Another important kind of insurance is to bond your employees. This would protect you incase one of your crew member is accused of theft or is proven to have stole something from your client’s house.

6. Are you and all of your crew trustworthy?
You need to check your employees’ background such as for any criminal activities in the past or any history of psychological illness or is under any form of medication that may affect their work. For you to honestly answer the question with a resounding “yes!” you have to accomplish these investigations.

7. Are your maids well trained and not just people you picked off the street?
You need to assure your clients that you hire people and train them to be good at their work.
