Default Can I start a side business parallel to my job?

Hi Everyone! Presently I am working in a private organization and get free from it in early evening. So I have lots of spare time in the evening and really want to utilize it. I am thinking of doing some side business by which my time will be utilized and simultaneously I will earn something. I don’t have any idea how to start a side business. If you people have any ideas then please let me know. Any help is appreciated.

    Good question,

The same one I asked myself many years ago. Most people start a part time business to supplement their income, so to answer your question, yes, it is considered the smart thing to do if you ever hope to have your own business.

I researched and started several businesses over the years, and I have not had to have a job for decades because of it, so yes, by all means, start working on building your own business and you might be surprised as I was it can replace your job.

When I quit my job, everyone thought I was crazy, but few knew I had built up a larger income in my own businesses, so this is the strategy that worked for me, and many others I know, so just do it, there are thousands of business opportunities which can set you free from the job which as we all know, is not as secure as it was when I quit mine.

Back then a job was the usual 40/40, work 40 years for same company, then retire and try to live on 40% what you were earning, the American way as it was called back then. lol Job security was almost guaranteed for most in those days, but not any more, there is no job security anymore, just ask those who lost their jobs when Enron, Bear Stearns, IndyMac Bank and thousands of others due to recession and failed companies. Never rely on anyone other than yourself, start your own business and never worry about the actions of others.

    Good luck, Mike

So long as you conduct the parallel business , NOT from your current employer's time and while on their premises and working hours and that their clients or customers are not "in any way" wooed to yours (aka conflict of interests which is liable for suit actions)... U R free to do so.

Freedom is what you seek and potentially, there's nothing like working on your own deep rooted merits and time spent by your own comfort rules... that too is a financial freedom from your own making!!!

If you have not already gain some idea as to what or where abouts or on which to try at, try this>>....
Wherever you may be at... this will have a high potential success!!!

Open a website offering both Contractors and Commissioners for work focus primarily on the housing sector. This is an ever ongoing and expanding arena and building materials usually influence on just "WHO" takes on "WHICH" Contractor as oppose to which person being able to afford one's expertise and lower or higher service and work rendered that is becoming rather expensive these days seeing the rise of raw materials and uncertain effect Oil prices can play on every economy.

Only registered Contractors with a legal, license and valid permit can sign up on yr website with a yearly subscription (keep it attractive but professionally low in the entry fee) while all others are FREE as private persons offering some work to be done, albeit on a boat, home, touch ups to full renovation to even building your 2nd private vacation home in the back yard... just to give you an idea.

These days, big businesses are too expensive with too much taxes involved from overheads and red tape with delayed promises and schedules which also in turn, deprive the one-man blue collar worker who is also a skilled plumber, carpenter, mason, renovator...the list goes on... and these ppl will give you the business as well as those FREE sign ups from private home owners or smaller businesses looking for that competitive price offer you offer through these single Contractors.... In other words, you help BROKER the two parties without actually getting involve, right off from your dinner table if you will.... while you dine, others are working and getting paid and loose floors being "fixed" for a price that both sides also happy and you earn more too with Advertising streaming in... hardware advertisers will like your solution for sure!!!

Hope you got the drift and idea from here... its a successful formula now in the making... I know coz I am a home owner myself of several and am happier to give the work to these individual architects of special skills with a lower price paid at the end of the job...

All the best and good luck, you need more tips and ideas... PM me, will be glad to help you set it up...

It is now a thriving business too...

    YB.

    Default Business information!!!

yes matinjase , you can definitely start something parallel to your job and when you feel that what you have started is worth more that your job in terms of money and comfortably managed by you , you can quit your job and concentrate more on this side.I think that you can go for a credit repair business as this will definitely enable you to make money and it is popular now a days.
