Default New hotness in small biz CRM?

A buddy of mine whose business I invested in as a silent partner asked me if I knew what good CRM looked like and costs these days. We've looked at Zoho and 8x8, but he (and our bean counter partner) have reservations, especially with pricing.

Are there any good (ideally contact to collection, but we understand nothing is 100%) free/low cost or even open source solutions out there that could be spun up on AWS or the like? We'll only have three users for the foreseeable future, and we're very cost conscious. Say, $500/year all in for those three or less.

Anyone know of anything like that? I haven't touched CRM in 20 years, back before it was CRM.

I don't know the raw numbers but I feel like salesforce:crm as 0365/Gsuite:email... It's one of those things where in-house hosting has a high enough TCO to make it a bad deal at a certain scale.

Now it's hard enough to find a good CRM system for a bit of money. All of them are practically the same and do not differ.

Now it's hard enough to find a good CRM system for a bit of money. All of them are practically the same and do not differ. Only some can boast some unique functions, which will be helpful. When choosing a system, especially for small businesses, you should pay attention not only to the list of basic functions. It is essential to pay attention to the level of security that the CRM system can provide you. I am currently using a system from idanalyzer, which has a built-in ID scanner. This way, I can be completely confident about my clients.

Have you looked into HubSpot's CRM? It's free to use and offers a ton of features, including contact and lead management, email tracking, and even basic reporting. Another option you might want to check out is Agile CRM, which offers a free tier as well as some affordable paid plans. As for open source options, I've heard good things about SuiteCRM and EspoCRM, both of which are available for self-hosting and have no licensing fees. By the way, if you're interested in automation in CRM, I recently integrated one into my online travel agency and it's been a game-changer. Just thought I'd mention it!

For small business CRM solutions, it sounds like you're on the right track with your search. If you're really cost-conscious, you might want to look into options that offer a lot of functionality for a low price. I recently had a good experience with https://acupowererp.com/acumatica/manufacturing-edition , which helped streamline various processes effectively. They offer a Cloud ERP system that's great for keeping things organized without breaking the bank.
