Hi Bryan,
Knowing your legendary optimism, we remain convinced that it is only a matter of time before things get back to normal. In other words we can see that despite the apparent moral and material devastation, you remain determined and in remarkably high spirits.
Your positiveness goes a long way to show your mental fortitude, and I hope we are all able to properly appreciate this.
Bryan, we consider you, Sharon, PIPS and any of your other ventures to be extremely successful, because success is not solely determined by the destination, but it is also the process towards the destination. And thus far, you are right on track. Plus, in life it is not always about how well you start....it is more about how well you finish - it is the way you arrive at the destination that matters!
I know MANY of us were seriously hoping for something by Christmas, but it is pointless and heartwrenching to fixate on deadlines that are hard to keep especially since things are not totally controlled by you at this moment.
One thing you need to know however, is that we are here 100% behind you, and I am sure there are days when you can feel it!! Of course, there are a couple of nay sayers who think we are crazy for believing that PIPS will be back. Naysayers are not unique to PIPS...these people are everywhere, and they relish the idea of seeing their pessimistic points of view come to fruition. Please don't be moved by these type of people...they have chosen to be like this, and you or anybody else for that matter are not going to change their mind.
There have been some interesting offers and suggestions lately... all in the intention of helping PIPS. I am sure that you have taken note of the ones that could come in handy when the time comes.
Lastly, Please Bryan, for as long as things are not totally in your control, don't feel obliged to give us a deadline for when you think things will be fully operational. This puts unecessary pressure on you, and it makes people "overread" your posts and makes them extremely edgy. If you feel you must give an approximate time frame, then be sure to factor in extra weeks or months for the unexpected circumstances. This way, anything that happens before this deadline comes as a pleasant surprise.
To your triumphal return!!
SirCharles
PS: In your moments of détente, check out "Cinderella man"! - It's based on the true story of Jim Braddock.....truly inspiring!
we will continue in prayers for you & sharon so that our pips will open again.
Dear Bryan, yes I am willing to share some of my rols profit to be given to a fund to put back what got taken and make Bistro back in bussiness.
Love and prosperity.
