I must say, I am impressed by this news. It looks like ICS has big plans for the future and those of us that are now active members are going to benefit. Since this was put into effect I have noticed a huge increase in the amount of tickets I have been receiving.

We have decided to remove any unsold products from the Bonus Store on February 1st and change the concept of the Store. The reasons are explained more fully on the site. Currently there is limited inventory, approximately $1,500 worth of gear at Amazon prices. It will be sold off at a 30% discount on a first-come, first-served basis, limit 1 item per member.

* To convert coins into lottery tickets, simply go to the Bonus Store and buy packs of tickets on the day you want them entered into the lottery
* We will change the look of the Store in the coming weeks to make it more appropriate for the ticket printing machine it is morphing into
* Coins will continue to be awarded just as they are now, so that you can build up a large supply and "press your bet" on the days you choose

During the halftime show of The Super Bowl, ICS re-launched the TrustScore System. During the past few weeks we stepped back, studied the many comments, emails, complaints and suggestions. We re-engineered the system and we think we got it right.

1. THE NEW TS SYSTEM DOESN�T PENALIZE YOU FOR FAILING TO ANSWER REPEATED FUN SURVEYS THE SAME WAY YOU DID THE FIRST TIME YOU SAW THEM.

2. Life flows! The TS still counts inconsistencies, which address factual aspects of your life. While sometimes some of these facts may change, we confirm them shortly after you establish a baseline answer and they are unlikely to actually change in your life in such a short interval. We follow up in a few months and if you change your answer then, there is no penalty. We will occasionally ask a question that directly or indirectly challenges one of declared demographics. Responses to these questions do count towards your TS.

3. The new system places you in competition only with yourself. As you achieve higher Ranks in the TS system, all kinds of benefits and surprises will come your way. The new system gives ICS a game-like experience and a whole new layer of fun.

To top that off, we recently introduced the ability to convert coins into lottery tickets and �press your bet� on days where you feel especially lucky. We are currently developing a �heat meter� widget that will be placed next to the lottery countdown clock. This meter will give a relative indication of how busy the ticket action is in the current lottery at the current moment in time compared to the same time on recent lottery days. The hotter the meter, the relatively heavier the betting. You will be able to use the meter to guide your coin conversion decisions. We will continue to look for great ideas and suggestion on how to make ICS even more fun.

Hey ICSers,
Ever since we enabled you to convert Bonus Coins into lottery tickets and thus increase your chances to win the current $50 lottery, we effectively added some gambling drama to the ICS experience. Let's face it, some days we feel luckier than others. Maybe it's your birthday or anniversary and you want to get a bunch of extra lottery tickets in play.

But, we also realized that some of you may want to press your bet and put more tickets in play on slow days when there are fewer tickets entered in the lottery. So, for the more statistically-oriented gamblers in our community, we proudly introduce The Sweepstakes HEATMETER.

It's located just to the right of the lottery countdown clock. The HEATMETER will be updated every 15 minutes throughout the day leading up to 15 minutes before the daily drawing that occurs at 7 PM EST.





The HEATMETER depicts how relatively hot or cold the betting action is, and the number of tickets entered in the lottery, at that point in the day compared to the same time the past seven days.

If the meter is smack in the middle, then at that moment in time the lottery is equally as busy as it has been on average at that same time the past seven days.





If the number of tickets entered is lower than the average for that point in time, the meter will move toward the left (green)





That is when your odds should be better.

If the number of tickets entered is higher than the average for that point in time, the meter will move toward the right (red)





That's when your odds will be lower and maybe you'd want to save converting Coins to lottery tickets for another day.
