Default How often do you translate documents in your company to pdf?

I have such a question: how safe is it to store all documents in pdf format on a computer, or is it better to keep folders with documents in a safe in the office as before?

My documents are stored in scanned form, but there is also a printed version in my desk.

I don't see anything wrong with saving everything in PDF or DOCX

An excellent question for the post! I constantly have problems with the pdf format. After all, all the documents were preserved in it. And customers send all their docs with applications in pdf because of signatures and seals. I tried to convert it to a WORD, but it's just a picture in doc format. It turns out that all kinds of pdf editing applications are image editors, in which you can write text on top of a picture, like in Photoshop, you know? Although yes, as you said, there are several paid options. We also needed to install an erp system a few months ago. Of course, we did not find free and high-quality ones. However, now we have the latest software installed, high-quality, and allowing the business to grow. We found it here https://www.copelandbuhl.com/acumatica-erp/, and at least we don't worry about viruses.
