Unemployment Compensation starts to run out this week.
For those who took the hit early, the first part of March, their Unemployment Cache is exhausted the last week in August. So, until we see some Federally funded extension 30 million unemployed Americans will lose their only sources of income starting this week - the last week in August 2019.
Fortunately I didn't get binned until April 1st and it took me weeks to actually get the crashed Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) to allow me to file a claim and get money rolling in again so I'm good until October with *just* enough biweekly income to keep my COBRA in effect and keep Health Insurance on the table!
But next week, millions are, literally, out of money and have nothing but promises of an alleged Federal Plan to extend compensation. Supposedly it's ready to go but has not hit the Process yet. Predictions?
Think we'll see any economic repercussions in the near few weeks because of this?
