Registration Highlights


MetisEtrade, Inc. is registered and supervised by Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as a Foreign Exchange Dealer (FXD) with Certificate No. FX-2012-004784 and by Securities and Exchange Commission as an online foreign currency trading and precious metal trading market maker and referral broker.


MetisEtrade clears its trades by itself and with PSS in Sweden, CitiFX in the USA and FXCM in the UK.


Regulatory Myth and Our Practice


Traders and investors here in the Philippines have a very little protection from Filipino regulators. There is no concrete regulation locally in the Philippines for any derivative trading like Forex and CFDs. As a result, many Filipinos opt to trade with companies regulated in USA, UK or Australia. However, these foreign regulatory bodies only regulate local resident investors and do not require trading companies under their regulation to report any trading activities of overseas investors.


MetisEtrade is here to declare that it will offer only a transparent trading mechanism with no dealing desk and all its financial data will be audited and made available to the public all the time. We will also listen to our clients to make sure to add additional due diligence to ourselves to be the first and fastest growing trading company.


Common Scam and Our Practice


Excessive Commission and Spread Markup
High commission and spread is the biggest reason for client’s loss and MetisEtrade strictly prohibits any IB to charge such high commission and to increase spread.


Unethical Trading Execution
MetisEtrade offers transparent trading execution with no dealing desk and no slippage.


Financial Insolvency
MetisEtrade will segregate all its client funds from operation funds and will keep net assets over 150% of the total client deposits while all its financials shall be audited by the most respected auditing firm in the Philippines.


Fund Management


MetisEtrade will separate roles of brokers and traders. Brokers will only act as a financial service provider while traders will only focus in investment management. Traders at MetisEtrade will go through a series of trainings and pass various tests.
