Default Get removed from a google search...

    Hello,

I have a question... What is the way or ways you can get removed from google search?

For example say you posted in an article or somewhere and you don't want people to be able to see that on google when they search your name or whatever... is there anyway to make it not appear?

For example.. say it is a forum? Is there anyway?

Thanks if you can try and help

sorry mate....i think u can't do that...unless there's an option when you post that article where it says to not to publish it publicly...but what's the point of posting an article if no one can read it right?..cheers!

You can use robot.txt to prevent google index from crawling your site. And if you open that site in the blogger platform, there was an option of not letting other search engines from crawling it.

Check this link also to know more about it.

Just add this to your robots.txt :
If you want to block your whole website from geting indexed by Google,
    Code:
    User-agent: Googlebot
    Disallow: /
    A specific page :
    Code:
    User-agent: Googlebot
    Disallow: /folder/specific_page.htm
Another way to prevent your page from getting indexed by Google is to use a meta tag in the <head> section of your page :
    Code:
    <META NAME="GOOGLEBOT" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW">
The 'NOINDEX' tells tells the bot not to index the webpage, and the 'NOFOLLOW' tells it not to follow outgoing links.

if its a forum delete the account by contacting the moderators or there will be a option for that under edit profile or account settings.
If its a article contact the web-master and ask them to remove the article. they will remove it after you spam their email :P
