PPC is a type of sponsored online advertising that is used where the advertisers pay only if a web user clicks on their ad. Hence the title, ‘pay per click.’

Using a PPC network like Google AdWords, your ads can appear for keywords selected by you whenever someone conducts a search using your keyword phrase.

PPC or pay-per-click marketing is the process of advertising in the paid ads section of Google or other search engines' SERPs (search engine results page). As the name suggests, you only pay when someone clicks on your ad and is led to the landing page you pre-set as the destination for them.

Pay-per-click promotion is a way to produce clicks and traffic on a website using search engine ads. If you spend $10 for a click, for instance, but the click results in a sale of $300, then using PPC is a no-brainer.
