Perhaps the first option should have been the commando one :D :D . Good discussion guys. It still remains to be seen whether TG are directly responsible for current problems, i know bryan has hinted at this in the past. I am very glad to see that most members are willing to do something about it anyway and not just spineless hippies as one thread seemed to be hinting at.

Right now, that email is the only 'partially credible' source I have to go by. You should see the wankers in the TG forum. They are all so proud of themselves explaining how all their letters and phone calls to the authorities finally paid off. They make me sick!
Now maybe some on this forum can see how much damage the Trolls can do.

    Talking

Every website has a host. So if I'd find the TG host and gained control just for a little awhile, I could destroy all there data. Deleteing the index.htm file alone would cause major damage.

Any thoughts on how to do this without the cops nocking on my door lol

If they can be identified, they can be sued for filing fraudulent complaints and spreading false rumors. Perhaps, if a few of them lost everything through a class action lawsuit on behalf of all PIPsters, they'd stop crowing and start groveling.
They have been careless enough that several can be identified. Hire the lawyers!!
Even if I never see a penny from the lawsuit, just the knowledge of their downfall would satisfy me.

quite a few who will be named in a class action lawsuit
International Corporate Sabotage is a serious offense.
A lot of PIPS members who have corporations have had their investments toyed with at the expense of fraud, theft and other 'backdoor' operations.
This should all prove to be quite interesting as the days tick on...
I wouldn't want to be in anyone's position from the darkside ... for all the tea in China ... too many angry family members, talkinig 'outside of forums'.
While a family might fight within its home walls, a family always sticks together !

While it would be nice to take action, the dilemma is all the problems PIPS has been facing this past year are really not likely totally due to TG trolls. Really, that is pretty naive. Did they do a lot of damage? No doubt. But I think it is far more likely that it was a variety of factors and people who, combined, contributed to the current problems. Yes, some were being downright malicious (the trolls) because that is what they thrive on. Others were acting because they felt it was the right / necessary thing to do (like the merchants who filed complaints, and most of those were not trolls). Also, I believe there were those within PIPS itself (staff, admin) who sabotaged PIPS from within for their own personal gain down the road. And, as much as I hate to say this, Bryan himself clearly made some pretty serious decisions / mistakes. So, who exactly would you all go after? I don't think we will ever know who all the real enemies are or were, nor do I think we will ever know where all the blame really lies. So, as much as we'd all like to blame someone and punish them...it's not very realistic. Personally, putting my energy into hate and revenge is a waste, and while it might have a brief moment of feeling good for some, that is usually fleeting, and rarely brings about the results one desires. As for any legal action being taken down the road for "corporate sabotage", slander, or whatever you want to label it...that is really up to Bryan, not us.
