“A customer is the most important visitor on our premises. He is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption of our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider of our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favour by serving him. He is doing us a favour by giving us the opportunity to do so.” - Mahatma Gandhi

This sums it up. When you become rich because of the success of your business, do not treat your customers like shit.

Don’t look down upon your customers and don’t get easily angered because there are customers with different moods and temperaments. Rather, try to learn how to deal with them and get them satisfied.

They’re not nuisances. They’re not assholes. They’re a blessing to your business. They’re the reasons behind your success. If they didn’t patronize you, your business would fail. Your progress is due to their patronage. You owe them tons gratitude.

Without them, you can’t be where you’re. Don’t ignore their relevant messages, and their calls. Don’t betray the trust they have in you, and don’t betray or cheat them. Give them the best services you can give – they deserve it.

I shake my head whenever I see exchangers, entrepreneurs and customer support staff who behave as if they’re gods. It’s clear they forget their humble beginnings.
