I doubt very seriously if it will happen before Christmas.....security is much better....but....the CORRUPT Government is so scared they might lose a nickel of their ""TAKE MONEY"" from under the table that they are failing to pass any of the LAWS necessary for their people to have any profits from.....they will argue and bicker at the drop of a hat...and its because they are all on the take and scared to lose what they are stealing......these laws should have been passed at the beginning of this year....and still nothing...its amazing how the coalition troops keep fighting their battles,while the Iraqi Government keeps stealing from their own people and procrastinate longer and longer....IMHO...Pat

Pat, unfortunately you are right on with your opinion. You could cut and paste your opinion and swap out the "Christmas" part with any other event over the last six or more months. So much positive news lately its sad they cant pass the needed laws. They are trying to figure out how to get their "Take Money" once they actually pass the oil law and things will be more accounted for. Or they will just leave with their millions/billions of dinar they haved stuffed in their pockets and disappear.

Alas, not to mention the millions and millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars sent over for urgent needs- that have not been accounted for...... nor were they spent addressing any legitimate needs.

I really think something really will happen really next year really> Did I say really, sorry, i think that is what the Iraq people are thinking that they will be able to live a normal Iraqi life if the government will take their hands out of the peoples pockets.
