I have been holding onto this Dinar for quite a while now, not as long as some of you, but longer than others, so I am stuck somewhere in the middle. What I wanted to discuss was the outlook, all things considered, for a RV in the near future. I would be happy to see a modest RV soon, with steady growth to a point where the returns reach that "amazing" level, but all the same, I am beginning to have a hard time convincing myself to hold on to the currency. I am hoping some of my friends and fellow rolo'ers can cheer me up a bit and help me fight the good fight.

You are in the right place and just waiting for the right time. I would never turn loose of my Dinar's. It will happen.

Now, will it happen before the New Ice Age begins? Who knows! That could start tomorrow. Hang on don't sweat the waiting. Just know it will happen.

hold on friend its going to happen. Again I dont have sources,but I do feel MHO that there will be a reval to coinside with the ISX opening to foreign investors on the 3 of Aug. I would be overjoyed if it hit at 3.48 as some others who have left this forum have stated it will, but not counting on it. I however think if its a modest RV it will hit the forex market and shoot upward in maybe three to six months. But again these are just my thoughts and Nobody should hawk the ranch on my thoughts

Why on earth would you let go of your dinar? It's hard to imagine that they could ever valued LESS than they are now, and they've already inched up in value, sort of while we weren't looking. We've all been so nutty about the BIG reval, that the tiny increments are almost overlooked. Progress is progress, kids! Keep the faith.

Just forget that you even own Dnar....until somethng happens...thats what I do.

I look at it like this, i bought a pair of really expensive shoes that i am waiting for a special occasion to wear, lol.....it's money spent, you won't spend any more on it, the occasion will happen......i like the advice "forget you have it" one day you'll look in here or cbi and remember you have because it will be worth a fortune!! Don't let go of it, it may just so happen that it revals the day after!

There has to be a point where it turns out to not be a good investment. People keep saying it has to happen, maybe logic dictates that but not reality, there doesnt have to be an RV, lets not forget this is Iraq. If you went out and bought stock in a company, if its not working out as planned when do you get out, thats the question.

Consider it as a huge BONUS and a windfall when someday.... it stares at you from the shoe-box you stashed it away in and it had delivered it's long awaited value.... just hope your grandchildren don't go and outrun it with their rapid age ....for time travels soooo fast these days... and you are still young enough to enjoy it from your wheelchair or hos pital bed or add it to the Bridge game in the daily after breakfast game in the old age home with the other senior Sr citizens...

I would love to blow sunshine up your "you know what" but I will leave that up to the others here. Now for your dose of realism. I take it that all of the rumors that have come and gone have got you a little down in the dumps, don't listen to them is my opinion. Keep looking for the facts. I feel it will be sometime down the road before you see any big gain. There are many many factors that make me say this. Way to much M2 out their for a large RV. Security is still very bad, The Parliament can't even pass anything. NO smaller demos as of yet. etc etc! You get the picture. This is going to be a long drawn out RV. Do I think it can reach 1 to 1 absolutely and even higher if all things fall into place. IF you invested only what you could afford to lose you should never give up. If invested for the "I will be a millionaire tomorrow" you might want to look at this investment again. If you do get rid of your dinar I think some where down the road you will be kicking yourself for opting out of an investment of a life time. But at the very least don't get rid of any until 2008................I could be wrong about the RV and Sunshine could get blown up all our "you know whats!"
