It's legal tender. Real cash. Not a scam. We have it in our hands. We just have to wait and see what the plan is for this currency.
I would love to see a ReVal but realistially I would be very pleased if the currency would simply be tradable on the forex. THAT would be a great start.
Keep the faith..

So many times I spoke about slow growth being the Iraqi plan and so many times I was beaten down for "that very wrong thought".. Guess what? Most posters now AGREE with what I have said for over a year... Slow, pip at a time, growth. I believe this is the Iraqi plan, has been all along. The pumpers and dumpers have found that YOU now know that and have left to take advantage of someone else on another get rich quick scheme,. So far I can make a small profit on my investment and I am grateful. Anyone left here care to comment. Love to read your thoughts. Blessings to all.

I agree with you 67warrior...I never bought in to the big overnight revel that so many on here said it would be...with all these so called big meetings to take place so the revel had to happen on this day....or on that day....then when all these so called people with the ""INSIDE"" information started their predictions and others joined the band wagon it always spiraled into nothing....then they would come on here and give all their reasons and excuses for the revel not taking place when in reality they knew nothing...like munny bags and you and a few others along the way always said it will be a slow grow....these people[the Iraqi Government] are as slow as molasses on getting things done...they will talk about it for months without doing a thing about it....the bad part about that is the taxpayers funding this war are getting a little tired of all the waiting and nothing happening...i Know its Iraq we are talking about here and they have been suppressed for a long time by a dictator....but sooner or later their comes a time when u have to ***t or get off the pot.....its almost that time now...for action...not talking...pass these laws they need to to get the ball rolling...IMHO...Pat

well in my opinion if they slow grow to 1000 and stop there this will not help their people...will it...i always thought that a revel would help their people.....the gas lines are just as long now as they were before....their people are still starving and having to resort to suicide bombings ...still hardly any electricity for more then a few hours a day....and last time i checked, their own people are not too satisfied with this prime minister or the parliament...so its still status quo to most of these people...sooner...or later, they are going to make changes if this government doesn't get off its **s and start passing laws designed to help their people to,prosper...IMHO...Pat

Well a 1000 to 1 wont help the people that much at all, however the HCL with profit sharing to all iraqi citizens will. Let say the rate does stay low does that mean each iraqi will get a few million dinar each quarter which is roughly 3-4 thousand dollars 12,000-16,000 dollars a year? That right there will boost there ecomomy whether the dinar is 1000-1 or not in terms of the dollar of which it is currently peged to. Thats what they want to do right with the HCL..to give back to the citizens a portion of the revenue profits?? Hell if your a kawati citizen i have heard you get around 50,000 dollars a year. Those people don't even work. With the so called 20 trillon dinars in circulation iraq can't afford a big RV. Unless that number is bogus. Theres 4 things that can happen in my opinion. 1st is slow grow for a few years and not looping the currency while pulling excess dinars out of circulation.or 2 they could loop bring the value of the currency up an re distribute new denominations. Or 3 they are lying about the number in circulation have a modest Rv of say a penney years down the road and let it grow from there as they hopefully get the oil pumping, electricity and water sector going along with security we will have a new economy born. 4 Just live with a high denomination currency....alot of countries have this folks. What leaves me with any hope is the finance minister said they wish to be on par with the dollar. How they do it is a complete mystery. Either way im in it to the end if it becomes worthless crap...dont think it will but you never know not with big banks invloved. Tank
Use common sense...the world may just start look different....its always fun to dream...and you never know they may come true ONE DAY

Offshore Wealth
Interesting,
No one can figure out what is going on, but we do know this, the gov. has not kept one single verbal commitment they have ever made, and that is the only thing that is absolute to date.
Sad they cannot seem to get past their hatred of each other along sectarian lines, but this is reality, and it certainly does not help our hopes and dreams. Yes, it has been frustrating, but with all the foreign investments coming into Kurdistan, sooner or later Baghdumb will wake up with envy seeing the Kurds share in the wealth.
I am still positive on Iraqi dinar, always have been and am still purchasing as much as I can get at market rates. Each day that goes by is simply one less day we will have to wait, slow, yes, but I still believe we will all see a restoration of value before too long.
Good luck and health to all, Mike
