Huh!! 2000 x 280 = 560,000 Bbld + 1800000 m = 2,3600,000 ! How do you get 3.6 Mil Bbl/d out of that?

It wasn't me.... It was that dang calculator...

Here is some new DD, Exxon's surge happened without a volume surge. It happened with a market cap surge. On tuesday their market cap was 481,600,000,000 billion dollars and on Wenesday it jumped to 508,900,000,000 billion dollars.
It jumped 27 billion dollars overnight.
So my question is what did Exxon do to jump that high and jump that fast?

What is the significance of Exxon jumping up almost $5.00 in two days? Look at this chart.


In 2003 they gained $2.00 in on year
In 2004 they gained $10.00 in one year
In 2005 they gained $9.00 in one year
In 2006 they gained $19.00 in one year
In 2007 they jumped $5.00 in two days

Their market cap jumped up 27 billion dollars overnight. So I say what happened?

Thank you sgs. this is my first post but i have been reading for months now. i just wanted to say "THANK YOU" and do not let the nay-sayers get you down. we want to here your post. most of us do not have the connections like you and the others that keep us posted on the info. most of us understand there is a war going on and things change on the drop of a dime. i know you do not need my reassurance, but i just wanted to say thanks. rc would be very dull without info.

Strongtower, you mention Exxon, what about a couple of other Oil Companies
that had huge share price moves this week too. Look at the week chart on them. Is this related to Iraq too or based on the price of oil and consumption?? Not my area expertise, would appreciate your knowledge and reply on this Thanks.

It's probably due to the announcement this last week by the opec nations that they would, de****e increased demand for oil, continue to decrease production.
