according to most of the people with the rumors the ISX could not have opened on the first of June without a revel because of the ""BUY IRAQ FOR PENNIES THEORY""i stated early last week that i did'nt think the ISX would open on time for the simple reason that these people have not kept one timeline...nothing has been on schedule...everyone was saying that the revel had to be around the corner because the ISX was fixing to open for foreign investment....now it looks like it won't open as scheduled.....GEE...what else is new........i believe in this investment....but i don't believe in all this rumor business....i rather keep it real...then make believe.....for those that need the ""RUMORS"" to thrive on.....great....but don't bash someone for having a difference of opinion and wanting to keep it real.....as of yet,not one rumor has panned out.....i'm sure one day one will....but i don't seeing it anytime soon.....IMHO....Pat

This whole war is based on bench marks anymore. Lets change the RUMORS to BENCH MARKS. Maybe that way we can all get along

So it appears that the GoI got what they wanted, their summer vacation. I wonder how that will fly? Either way, still counting down.

Why does everyone think that the ISX has to open to FIs before the reval? Wouldn't it be smarter to RV and then open the ISX to FIs. Why would Iraqis let the world buy-up their companies for pennies when they can make many many dollars! I think the ISX is waiting for the revalue, and not the other way around IMHO.

my theoretical answer to this is that it gives the cbi another 60 days to soak up more liquidity , and then rv right before it does go foreign. IMHO , which is very H.
