GW Bush on Good Morning America Rumor

Just wanted to see if anyone can confirm or deny the rumor that President Bush was quoted as saying to congress if they are patient, this war will be paid for by July......

It was mentioned in the news thread and Neno has e-mailed the show asking for a link to the interview....

If this turns out to be true, I think our President has clearly shown his "hand" so to speak.... And this is GREAT news for us!

Indeed Hardwood! Assuming this is the case, a rv late this month, ISX to open 1 Jun, and the war being for in Jul. Perhaps there is more going on behind closed doors in Iraq. And maybe, just maybe these things will all be done by the time they are to have the summer break.

If this was said then I would think this indicates an RV by then: and a "Big One"! One of the most interesting things I've read on this forum was that the U.S.A. possibly has plenty of dinar to pay for the war and to pay off a large amount of the national debt. Hoping that he did actually said this.

I am in research for a segment piece that I have been told was done Monday or Tuesday. It was a Link or a Video of a few Statements from President Bush saying something with if the Congress we give him until July 07, he will have the War paid for, or the Deficit reduced.

I think, even if there were going to be a big RV, and even if Bush knew about it, that he would never make a comment that would invite an endless amount of questions and scrutiny.

Think about it in a logical manner.....if Bush really said "The war will be paid for by July" can you imagine how many people would grill the guy about what exactly he meant by that statement. Come on...get those thinking caps on.

Makes a open forum realise how Open it is. Good point ATMCSMD but, I meet the posted today. Very Nice Guy, A Minister for 30 years. He gave me how and where and why, he posted it in the News Section. I am trying to help him confirm this as it was from a very GOOD Friend of his. Plus not only once was it heard, but twice. It was on the Good Morning America Show Tuesday and Wednesday, and reported by Journalist Chris Como.

Inscturable if you are out there, I sure could use some help on this. I have emailed ABC and GMA for a reference link of some sort. No response as of yet.

But after meeting the Poster, I believe he posted this in Good Faith. It is a Powerful Statement, I agree. And it is very believable. Anyone wants to help, the links or above to ABC, I will be doing all I can to locate this.

I agree, if this statement was said on GMA it would have been all over the news media. It would have been the lead story for everyone. Nothing that GW says gets past the press these days. He gets hammered almost daily it seems for things he says.

Neno: I assume you mentioned to RevDan to be a little careful on where this was posted (Think Tank Thread) His original comment was "On GMA Bush said" but now it looks like this info came from a friend and Chris Como only quoted Bush.

It would be great to find somewhere that this was really said.
