Default Not until it's time for us to leave

I love the all the speculation and rumors but the reality of our situation is that the money will not revals before the this war is over and the Good Guys are ready to leave. I estimate that at least 3/4 of supporting civilians would immediately return home to their families and a good 1/2 of the military service members would be so mentally distracted knowing that they have just won the lottery... Not trying to be negative but just my perception on being over here. This is a big topic for us here in Iraq and we fantasize about what we would do if this thing hits. I have yet to talk to anyone that would stay. We are already under staffed and workin 12-16 hours everyday. A Descent R/V would just compound the delima causing a major exodus. I hope and pray for a nice reval but a gradual increase or maybe a .01 or .02 R/V is more likely just to give the people some hope. I pray that I am wrong. Again not trying to be negative.
If it ain't rough it ain't me!

The war ended in 2003. Big ceremony on an aircraft carrier with the Pres and all.

Sorry, do you believe what you just wrote??
A teacher was giving a lesson on the circulation of the blood. Trying to make the matter clearer, she said, "Now, class, if I stood on my head, the blood, as you know, would run into it, and I would turn red in the face... then why is it that while I am standing upright in the ordinary position the blood doesn't run into my feet?"
A little fellow shouted, "Cause your feet ain't empty."

i believe its now considered a 'liberation' of iraq and not an actual 'war'.

and we arent about to stop 'liberating' them now or in any near future. the facts that you need to be disputing are the statements directly from jaber and others when they speak of raising the value of the currency to its 'former' level. and the fact that the wto is going ahead with assession proceedings next month. and the many thousands of articles that are coming out of iraq about the recovery process and all the new accomplishments and construction and world participation of their sporting teams and activities.

its a good thing the iraqis arent listening to you or they would still be under saddams control and be ready to give up. you offer no hope to anyone with your negative viewpoint of everything thats goin on. and dont look now but the sectarian groups are starting to talk to each other and make agreements and cooperate.

a bit of advice, MOVE AWAY FROM THE WESTERN MEDIA SCREEN SPIDEY, YOURE TRAPPED IN MOVIE MENTALITY!!!!
    JULY STILL AINT NO LIE!!!

It is obvious that you are not sitting over here receiving daily mortar attack! I wish I could sit and watch the "western media Screen" secure in the comfort of my own home. Anyway, I do see all of the positive news posted on these forums, but I also live daily in the reality of this environment. You guys can play with the retoric and continue to be duped by these politicians, but tell Spc/Sgt/Lt. that he is not fighting in a WAR. PLEASE People! I just had a soldier almost throw my computer across the room.

You are correct. The US is not at war with Iraq. The US is at war in Iraq. So, the war is not over as far as i can tell. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Oh, and if the mission was accomplished why is the US still there? Mission not accomplished. Not yet.

    Default I really wish...

I wish this thing would happen/R/V yesterday, but dispite the positive events, too many folks here have made this investment and are ready to return home. There are not enough folk here to finish the mission already. If this money reval we are out of here. We are barely allowed to take our leaves because of under manning. Numbers are a big issue and now there are further questions concerning funding. The Generals tried to tell them in the beginning that we needed more people. And now they are still half doing the job continuing to serve selfish political interest. Now if we chose to pay off the bad guys like the Kuwaitees and some others in the region, we might be able to leave, But those devils would just follows us home. Our incoming shippments of illegal drugs would double as weapons payloads. When we are eventually partying in Cancun or wherever, you will find that I am the most positive person you may ever meet. But there is a fine line between being optimistic and delusional. I love all the rumors and information but all aspects of this venture must be presented.
