As you have seen, we have been trying our best to stay online under a longer DDos attack on our site. Some members wont be able to access our site due to some server configurations to block out maximum of the largest and longest DDOS attack ever, on Rolclub during our time online since June 2005.
Many of you have been experiencing slow page loads, or site down from time to time during this past week. A team of Ddos professionals have been monitoring our sites. To bring all back to normal, we are implementing a new strategy to fight this DDOS attack. This includes change of server's which will lead to site being down for 48h, so that the site can be hosted on one of the most secure networks against such sort of DDOS attacks in the future.
Rolclub has been online and served it's members since 2005. You can be sure, we will stay around :) . We truly apologize for this mess. We will always do what we can in order to stay safe from such attacks, but there is always a risk running money making sites of any kind as there is no provider on earth that can guarantee you 100% online time against such attacks that our server's have been experiencing in past 7 days.
Why someone would do such a thing, is beyond our understanding. It can be from as small issues as a few members having some sort of problem against each other on the forum, and then they come back at our site, to someone writing a scam article about some investment program, or our competitors which have seen that in past 2 weeks our daily alexa ranks has been the best. We don't know, nor are we interested in negotiating any deals with DDosers of any kind, as we have also been asked to pay a fee to have the attacks stopped in the past similar attacks on our site's. (We do not negotiate with DDosers)...
We shall soon be back with full force on highly protected servers, with the best team on the project money can buy to get our sites back up normally for all our nearly 38500+ members.
Rolclub site's will be down for 48h while we shift our servers. We hope you sticky around and let others that cant access the site know about our situation.
