WHERE YOU CAN BE THE OWNER OF A CRUISE LINE

This web site is built for the specific purpose of testing the feasability for a new cruises line. A cruise line that will be owned by the people who cruise on it and by the people who sell cruises.

At the end of this presentation you will be asked some questions including if you would be interested in investing. We will ask for a commitment to invest but we will NOT ask for money until we are ready to go which should be in about 6 to 12 months.

NEW CRUISE LINE is only a working name and we will have a contest later for a new name and the name of our ship.What we want from you is your honest opinion of the feasability of starting a new cruises line. We will not start until the economy starts to turn around, We would like to be ready to go at the start of the rise so we can take advantage of all of the pent up desires to cruise.

Our goal is to raise five million dollars or more to start operations and ten million dollars for long term operations. When we reach three million dollars we will start the search for a president, a ship to lease, negotiations with the ports for a home base and a headquarters in southern Florida near the cruise port.

THE CONCEPT---

A new adults only cruise line to be marketed in North America and Europe. We will apply to become members of the Niche Cruises division of Cruise Line International Association (CLIA). All cruisers must be 18 years old or older and it will be presented as a "party" ship. Much like those old frat parties you used to go to. We will market to the spring break crowd in February, March and April but tone it down the rest of the year. It will be topless optional for our European cruisers and there will be some adult fun and games led by the entertainment crew. We will offer quiet areas for those who just want to relax in peace.

Do you remember when Carnival Cruises started and they had only two ships? They were the FUN SHIPS and they grew faster than any other cruise line. By the time they added their fourth ship they changed their marketing plan to market to middle America. They changed their drinking age to 21 and each cabin now has to have someone 26 years old or older in it. We are after the people that they rejected as they grew. The party people who like to have a good time and get a little boistrous and let off a little steam so they can go back to their normal life and get along until they build up more steam then come back for a repeat cruise. There are enough of them out there to fill two or three ships but the only place they can go to now is to land based resorts. We are going to change that.

Other than the adults only rule the main difference from the other cruise lines is that we will be all-inclusive. Included in the fare will be your room, meals, snacks, all drinks, tips, one shore tour per stop and all taxes, port charges and fees. And a note to travel agents: IT'S ALL COMMISSIONABLE!! What is not included are personal purchases, spa services, photos, gift shop purchases and upgraded land tours.

The main reason we chose the adults only concept is because it is a category that is on the rise and they are an exceptionally loyal group. They also tend to tell a lot of other people about it and bring new friends and relatives with them on return vacations. Most adult only resorts enjoy a repeat rate of more than 80%. This is tremendous and nearly guarantees our success. Most singles don't like to be around a lot of kids and many parents like to occasionally get away from their kids and let their hair down with a little adult fun.

When our finances are in order we will look to lease a ship in the 1,200 to 1,800 passenger range that is SOLAS approved and new enough to be energy efficient. We will also hire an ****utive search company to hire an experienced and qualified president to run the day to day operations. We already have in place and ready to go 3 companies that will handle our front of the ship and back of the ship operations as well as shore side operations. The computer program just needs adjustments to our methods and we have a company ready to handle the booking office.

NEW CRUISE LINE will be based in southern Florida and will offer 3, 4 and 7 night Bahamas and Caribbean cruises. The home port is yet to be determined. When we hire a president we will start negotiations for a home port with the ports of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Port Canaveral.
