Thread: Travel At Agent Discount Fam Rates Plus Commissions

Like to TRAVEL?

I use to own a traditional travel agency back when it was a profitable business, and as with most agents, we all enjoyed the FAM trips, or for those who are not aware, these were familiarization trips to tour new facilities, hotels, cruise ships, etc., and they were usually so cheap that you went on several every year. I love to travel, and even better is to be treated special and travel agents are treated even more special.

When the commissions were being cut, I sold agency and shifted my focus on other businesses. To make a long story short, I missed all the special deals and being first to visit new hotels or new cruise ships and free upgrades, as example. With many clients still asking for my advice on trips, I looked at a dozen travel deals where you can still enjoy these discounts, but without the hassle of owning or working in a travel agency.

These outside agent deals are not new, but with most costing $500.00 plus to register with, in most cases it was not worth it unless you travel extensively so your discounts can cover the cost of joining these programs. I have researched these offers for years and finally the prices are coming down, and with the added incentive of a full blown automated marketing system by VORTEX, GT Trends is one that got my attention. Not only is the least costly travel agent program, it has some of the best FAMS I have seen.
