1. Only professionals or investors can immigrate to the country. No unskilled laborers will be allowed in. Investors must be able to invest at least 40,000 times the daily average wage. If they can't, they are not allowed in.

2. Immigrants may purchase property, but locations and availability will be limited. Ocean front property cannot be purchased by immigrants. It is exclusively for citizens born in the country.

3. Immigrants cannot vote nor can they be elected to any public office.

4. Immigrants cannot collect any type of government assistance.

5. Immigrants cannot protest the countries government, policies or president.

6. Immigrants cannot display a flag of a foreign country.

7. Immigrants who have illegally entered the country will be found and imprisoned.


Sound kind of harsh?

Well these are laws that are currently part of the Immigration Laws of, you guessed it, MEXICO!!!

R U targeting the country and the unfair Constitution of Mexico or is it wrongfully poised at the Mexican population that flees across from that very strange setup you and them are looking at?

If the message is addressed: come over to the USA and work hard, save alot and keep it here to further help this new country of your financial dream...YOU ARE WELCOME muchachos!!!

But send back those well earned US Dollars to help the corrupted leaders, then you shouldn't be allowed Immigrant status either!

So what shall it be? :blueh:

The Mexicans that crosses must be allowed to be educated that there is a place, on either side of the fence... they have to make that choice and show allegiance to the host country, period!... otherwise, the boot!!

I think the fault lies at the door of the Mexican government. They not only refuse to attack issues that keep their people in poverty, but they actually encourage the very poor to illegally cross our border to seek employment in the more prosperous US. I do sympathize with the poor, desperate ones that want a better life, but that does not extend to their coming in illegally and breaking our laws. A country without the enforcement of existing laws will not long stand.
I happen to live in an area where this illegal activity is rife and it is not a pleasant thing to behold. those of us who live close to it have seen the handwriting on the wall for years. too bad our elected officials are so blind. Maybe if they lived in the middle of it, they would have a different take on it.
The most dangerous thing about it is that terrorists can slip through almost undetected. And we all know what that means.
I hope i don't sound high-handed. It's just that I love my country and hate to see it destroyed by those who claim to be our protectors. And I don't think it's wrong to believe that when you're in Rome, you do as the Romans do, not what your culture did in the old country.

I sure can relate to your immediate challenge with the crossovers by the illegal Mexicans. They are in a state of turmoil that sees little progress in productivity and education as it lies mainly with survival backed with corruption from the very birth of any well-to-do family upbringing originating deep inside Mexican soceity who will later run the country in some capacity.
On the other hand, the infra structure of California is so deeply entwined with foreign labour, mainly Mexicans, that the thought of another earthquake which systematically select every illegal Mexican...is inhumanely unaccepted as an ultimate solution...who else that are left behind is prepared to clear the next debris? NONE!

Not to forget, there is the Mexican maffia shadowing allwalks of Mexican soceity that runs in the veins of the subdued, both in their homeland asin California...Law Enforcement is powerless and vulnerable too.

It needs political will to route them clear...but who is prepared to go down in history just so that one's epitaph on the tombstone will read: died with heroic courage to save the rights of Californians preventing Mexican beans jumping over! :rofl:

Unusual posting but unfortunately very true.

You know Yogi, the dirty little secret is that Mexicans are taught that California was stolen from Mexico and that it is their responsibility to take it back. The truth of the matter is that the Mexicans who settled here in California did not want to be a part of Mexico and they fought with the Americans to wrest it from Mexico. The more militant of the ones here are gloating that they have made fools of the US Government and have gained much without firing a shot. And they certainly have!

We're at war, and the sooner we realize it and act like it the sooner things will be resolved. It makes me very sad, as I have some wonderful friends of Mexican decent and I hate for them to get hurt in the fray. Who knows where it will go? It's a sad situation.

i am not a wine drinker, so obviously not a conessieur (can't find the spell check function). I've never been to Napa Valley but hear it is beautiful country. We still have a lot of beautiful things in California--even beautiful people. Most of them are NOT in Hollywood! Thank God. A pretty face does not a beautiful person make.

A bit off the subject, but it does lighten things up a bit, huh? And thanks again for you empathy. It is sorely needed!
