Thank you Susie! I know prayer changes things otherwise I would not be here today...but then that's another story. Thank you for continuing to hold Gary and I up in prayer it is so coveted (I think this kind of coveting is okay IMHO). I am glad you enjoy the thread. It is for prayer and lifting up the name of Jesus...because He does inhabit out praises.

    Hugs,

    Deb

We praise You Lord for the beautiful sunny week You have given us in Oregon. The rains came and we thought You might tell us to build an ark...but we know that You gave us the rainbow as a promise to never flood the whole earth. We were wondering though. We know that we need the rain too and we are thankful for it. You made me more of a sunshine girl. Father, we thank You for the many brothers and sisters in Christ You have joined in prayer for us and in prayer for B&S. Regardless of our will in this whole thing...we leave it to You. You are perfect in all Your ways and You are in perfect control. Your timeline is perfect...ours sucks Lord. You do what is best for us! Thank You Lord that You have lifted that burden off our shoulders. We trust in You Lord, we run to You and call on You in times of trouble and turmoil. Thank goodness we have You to guide our steps.

Father for all these things we are truly grateful. We know that You will be watching over us today, tomorrow and forever. I love You Lord and I am not ashamed to say so...Jesus, I love You! Thank You for knocking and knocking and knocking and thank You Holy Spirit for taking me to a hard place to where I had no choice but to open the door and invite You in. Lord, bless, give wisdom, guidance and instruction to all my friends. These praises and prayers in the name of Jesus! Amen!

    Hugs...

I know it's been hard for a lot of people since this passive income has been put on hold due to the investigation. We decided to look ahead instead of behind...we knew going into this that we could lose our money. I still will continue to hope and pray that the Lord's will will prevail in this...though I do not know the Lord's will because I don't know all of the surrounding circumstances or the heart and motivation of the man, but the Lord knows. In my humanness...I believe I saw the heart and motivation when my husband and I personally met B&S on two different occasions spending an hour each time with them. Our perception was that of honesty, integrity and compassion.

I pray for each and every member of this family that this would be the year of breakthrough for finances. I pray that each and every one of us is able to wipe our debt out so that we can give and give and give and give. How will this happen I cannot fathom it...but the Lord can fathom it. His ways are not our ways and we can't even begin to understand how He is working. Put your trust in Him and lean not on your own understanding. He will make your paths straight.

Lord, I will continue to pray for B&S...I know that they are not my source...You alone are my source. But I believe You love these two and You saw and still see the motivation of their hearts. Lord, they are surrounded by enemies on all sides. Go before them and be their rear guard. Lord, take out the enemy and be glorified in it. Let the truth be known whatever that is. Father, if they need to repent nudge them with the Holy Spirit. Help them not to lean upon their own understanding but upon Yours. Give them rest Lord and give them overwhelming peace and help them to do what they need to do in Your strength not in theirs. Continue to give them wisdom and guidance straight from the Holy Spirit. I ask this in the name of my Source...Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.

    Default Amen!

Lord, I lift up Bryan and Sharon to you now and I plead the Blood of Jesus over them, their minds, mouths, hearts, appetites and desires. Cause any and all scales to fall from their eyes. Give them Your Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Open their eyes, flood their eyes with light. Expose any and all darkness in their lives. Apprehend them just as you have apprehended Paul. Give them a road to Damascus experience; one they cannot and will not ignore. Open their eyes. Let them know that apart from you, they can do nothing. Apart from you, they are nothing. I pray that they be rooted and grounded in the Word of God and in His Love so that they be filled with all the fullness of God. I pray that they are so consumed with pleasing you and bringing about your will in this earth that nothing else matters. I say right now that You are the first thing on their minds in the morning and the last thing they think about at nite. I say they are being awakened by Your Holy Spirit in the 4th watch to be about your business, praying in the Holy Ghost. Give them the grace to know you as Saviour, Healer and Provider. I say that they belong to you and they are a woman and man after your own heart. No compromise! I pray this and believe to receive this done now in the precious name of Jesus! Amen!

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” — Leo Buscaglia

I had to share this quote...it is so true!

“If our greatest need had been information,
God would have sent an educator.
If our greatest need had been technology,
God would have sent us a scientist.
If our greatest need had been money,
God would have sent us an economist.
But since our greatest need was forgiveness,
    God sent us a Savior.”

I really enjoy this author...he puts Jesus right up close and personal to you when he writes of Him.

    Smile Forgiveness

Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Jesus made it very clear that unforgiveness, bitterness and strife in our hearts blocks us from receiving the blessings in our life that our Father desires to give us. Notice what He says in these verses:

Mat 6:14-15 For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Mark 11:25-26 And when you stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Mat 18:21-22 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus said unto him, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Mat 5:23 Therefore if you offer your gift on the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.

The attitude of “Well, I have forgiven them but I sure won’t ever forget it” is not good enough. This forgiveness must be real and it has to be from your heart (you have to mean it). Because it is so important, please read this whole parable that Jesus taught:

Mat 18:21-35 Then Peter came to him and asked, "Sir, how often should I forgive a brother who sins against me? Seven times?" "No!" Jesus replied, "seventy times seven! The Kingdom of Heaven can be compared to a king who decided to bring his accounts up to date. In the process, one of his debtors was brought in who owed him $10 million! He couldn't pay, so the king ordered him sold for the debt, also his wife and children and everything he had. But the man fell down before the king, his face in the dust, and said, 'Oh, sir, be patient with me and I will pay it all.' Then the king was filled with pity for him and released him and forgave his debt. But when the man left the king, he went to a man who owed him $2,000 and grabbed him by the throat and demanded instant payment. The man fell down before him and begged him to give him a little time. 'Be patient and I will pay it,' he pled. But his creditor wouldn't wait. He had the man arrested and jailed until the debt would be paid in full. Then the man's friends went to the king and told him what had happened. And the king called before him the man he had forgiven and said, 'You evil-hearted wretch! Here I forgave you all that tremendous debt, just because you asked me to--shouldn't you have mercy on others, just as I had mercy on you?' Then the angry king sent the man to the torture chamber until he had paid every last penny due. So shall my heavenly Father do to you if you refuse to truly [from your heart] forgive your brothers."

Picture in your mind that faith is like a large pipe that extends from heaven to you. All of the blessings of God must come to you through that pipe. None of us can afford to let unforgiveness, bitterness and strife plug up our “pipe” of faith!

    Forgiveness
James 1:22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

You may think that there are certain people that you simply cannot forgive because of how terribly they have wronged you. You look within yourself and you simply cannot find the capacity to forgive them. Remember, we are not under law, but grace. Whenever we come up to a commandment that we cannot obey, we simply do what we can do and ask for God to do the rest.

“Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.”

Jesus gave us instructions on what to do regarding people that we need to forgive:

Luke 6:27-28 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

If we will simply begin by obeying Jesus’ instructions to “Pray” for those whom we need to forgive and then ask for God’s grace to make it real in our hearts...God will do it! We do what we can do...He does for us what we cannot do! Hallelujah! It is entirely possible to walk completely free from all unforgiveness, strife, and bitterness. Write down the names of anyone for which you know that you still have unforgiveness or bitterness against. Pray for them daily and trust God to make it real in your heart.

    DAILY CONFESSION

I thank you Father that I and my family walk in divine health all the days of our lives. I thank you that you prosper us in all that we set our hand to do this day. I thank you for the ministering angels camped round about us and I command you ministering angels in Jesus Name, go forth and make our paths straight and keep us from any harm of the evil one. I thank you Father that I and my family are growing in wisdom and stature and have favor with God and man. Favor and much grace in Jesus' Name. Now Satan in the name of Jesus Christ I bind you up and cast you out. You can not come against us in any way shape or form. I thank you Father that you are blessing me and my family in all that we set our hand to this day. I thank you that we are Jesus made people. I place all of our cares and our needs at Your feet for I know that you care for us and you supply all of our needs according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I thank you that all of our needs are met. I thank you that all of our bills are paid. And that there are thousands of dollars in our checking account over and above our expenses and what we need to live. We are self sufficient, lacking nothing and able to give abundantly into every good work. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Love the LORD, all his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the LORD. Psalm 31:23-25

May my accusers perish in shame; may those who want to harm me be covered with scorn and disgrace. But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. Psalm 71:13-15

Thank You Lord for Your Word...I will hope only in You. You have written me in the palm of Your hand. May we continue to lift up our brothers and sisters in the Lord. In Jesus name...Amen.
