Gambling wrong according to the bible?

Here are some verses to think about..... If this is not gambling or taking a chance then what shall it be called?




Numbers 26:52-56
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying ... the land shall be divided by lot.

Joshua 14:2
By lot was their inheritance, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

Joshua 18:6
Ye shall therefore describe the land into seven parts, and bring the description hither to me, that I may cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.

Joshua 19:51
These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD.

Joshua 21:8
And the children of Israel gave by lot unto the Levites these cities with their suburbs, as the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.

1 Chr.26:13-14

There are so many things which modern fanatics of every religion have deemed against the writings of all, such as the Bible, Koran, Torah etc.. which they never intended nor stated that you could go on forever...sex/money/gambling/veils/long hair blah blah..IMO it's better to just ignore and let them continue their miserable little lives...

That's correct.... put a telee in front of them and they won't say otherwise or that's "discrimination" and being state controlled media if they can't watch other channels or services telling the truth.... and so forth.

The TV was also considered a devil's tool to spread more evil... heyyy, DON'T live in the modern world then, go up and join OBL in the mountains of Afghanistan/Pakistan...without the satellite cellphone...but that's what he has and uses, contradictory to his medieval beliefs of the Koran teachings and all modern day tools we now uses... and he abuses

Gamble is a method, as described and termed when applying to the kind or sort related to vice that some fundamentally oppose as bad.

But if you gamble by risking your life to save the other Brian from TG from slipping off the edge.... that is a heroic act indeed...
