Why did Aina Gold test his own popularity?

One thing he may not be aware of is: Success in one area of life does not automatically translate into success in other areas of life. Because you’re a successful land seller or actor doesn’t mean that you’ll succeed at politics (especially when you join a wrong political party). Despite what some people may be telling, he’s realized that.

He joined a wrong political party – since it would be very hard to defeat APC in Lagos State. He wanted to test his own popularity, and he wasted his money.

That’s a good lesson.
