Default Reality Shakes Fox News Presenters - On-Air Anger Flares

Reality Shakes Fox News Presenters - On-Air Anger Flares
    From Peter Howard
    9-6-5

    Hello Jeff,

Never in my life would I have expected to see FOX presenters so angry with each other.

I don't watch FOX much but I like to see what they are spinning - to get an idea of what stories they are glossing-over or ignoring, etc.

Geraldo and Shepard Smith in downtown New Orleans unloaded on Hannity on Hannity and Colmes last Friday, with Shepard Smith more or less yelling at Hannity on camera.

He was reporting that the Federal Government had set up check points and would not allow people to leave, and would not give them help...they had been locked in the Convention Centre.

Hannity: "lets put this into perspective......"

Smith: "WHAT MORE PERSPECTIVE DO YOU NEED !!! COME ON !!!"

Hannity: "Lets put this into perspective, the trucks are arriving...when is that aid to be distributed?"

Smith snapped back: "I don't know." with a pure look of disdain and disgust on his face.

Hannity: "Oh .....OK, well let's cross to Heraldo"

Geraldo: "FRIGGIN LOOK AT THIS SEAN !! IT"S BEEN 6 DAYS......."

Geraldo holding a young 10 month old baby.....

...and than more or less a very quiet-looking and tame Hannity crossed away from him to another reporter outside that area with hair and lipstick and all smiles.

Haven't seen hide nor hair of Shepard Smith since, except briefly and he looked exhausted. I think "fair and balanced" has taken it's toll on him.

Lies do take a physical toll on people and Shepard Smith has told his full share over the years.

Meanwhile, BBC started playing Mayor Nagin's radio interview, another reporter pointed out that while President Bush ate cake and played guitar, Condi Rice was buying shoes in New York and Dick Cheney has not been seen !!

Meanwhile, they also pointed out that:

Germany is offering 2 million barrels of oil a day for 30 days. Venezuela is offering FREE fuel !! France - more offers of aid than they could list even Sri Lanka...poor and devastated by last years Tsunami...offered cash !!

    But NO response from Washington.

Then onto CNN to watch a very pompous CNN announcer, Ralitta Vassileva, saying "What has the rest of the world offered?"

"I am an American and I am very angry at the rest of the World...." and on and on

I found that interesting because I have not heard one angry word levelled at another country but she was trying hard to move blame away from the US government, during her time as presenter last evening she only played the single part of Mayor Nagin's speech that gave Bush credit and NOTHING else... blaming not being able to play the rest of the interview because of 'technical difficulties.' Yeah, right.

    Take care, Jeff

    Peter

FEMA's Brown Blasted While Dubya Still Refuses Foreign Aid
    By Wayne Madsen
    Wayne Madsen Report.com
    9-6-5

"Team Bush" is still refusing international aid.

    * Russian rescue crews on four cargo planes with helicopters on board sit idle at an airport near Moscow waiting for green light,

    * Cuba has 1500 doctors with 26 tons of medical supplies and Bush is refusing them entry to U.S.,

    * Venezuelan disaster rescue teams wait for a "go,"

    * Dominican Republic crews with hurricane recovery experience wait and wait and wait.

It's the same scene at airports around the world.

Meanwhile, FEMA turned back 8 buses from Washington, DC that were to bring 400 evacuees to the DC Armory which has been stockpiled with just about every need. The Bush regime has finally reached the crescendo of evil.

And why is FEMA so incompetent? It was turned into a political patronage agency by Bush for Bush's campaign lickspittles. This from a disaster recovery specialist with inside contacts at FEMA:

Mike Brown was Joe Allbaugh's college roommate. (Allbaugh was Bush's first FEMA director). Allbaugh is now a consultant who makes tons of money for greasing the skids for companies to get business with the federal government in Iraq and with FEMA.

Note to Federal law enforcement: You might want to investigate the relationship between Allbaugh and IEM, Dewberry, and URS -- the companies that took $500,000 to develop a "Catastrophic Hurricane Disaster Plan for New Orleans & Southeast Louisiana," a plan they never delivered and a project for they fraudulently included James Lee Witt Associates as one of their team partners. The sleazy revolving door ****ing out money spins very fast with the Bush administration.

Mike Brown had absolutely no experience in disaster management. When Allbaugh became director in January, 2001, he politically cleansed FEMA of anyone who was associated with outgoing director James Lee Witt, who had done an excellent during the Clinton administration. Allbaugh was charged with cleaning out of FEMA because of the neocon desire to rid the Federal bureaucracy of FEMA and replace it with charitable giving as a means of disaster relief.

So, Allbaugh's first priority was to gut FEMA. This became an even greater priority after the Democrats (especially Joe Lieberman) forced Bush to create a Department of Homeland Security. FEMA was rolled into DHS. Allbaugh was caught by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) using the FEMA Boeing 737 aircraft for private purposes, including numerous personal trips to Florida and political trips around the country. The Republican National Committee reimbursed FEMA for the political junkets, but the embarrassing trips hit the pages of the New York Times and Allbaugh chose at that time to leave and set up his own consulting business. He left without any pressure from the White House.

In early 2001, The American Arabian Horse Association fired current FEMA director Mike Brown as its executive secretary after a non-productive period of employment. Admittedly, Mike Brown had spent a large part of 2000 campaigning for Bush rather than doing his job, but the bottom line for the horse association was that Brown neglected his duties and day to day responsibilities.

Brown was lucky. His old college roommate, Allbaugh, appointed Brown as his number 2 within days of his firing by the horse association. This cozy relationship was noted throughout the Allbaugh period. Upon Allbaugh's departure, Brown was designated by Bush to succeed him as FEMA director. He is called "Brownie" by Bush.

"Brownie" has few supporters in FEMA. In fact, the general commentary is that he lacks basic organizational and management skills and he is a bullshit artist, not a leader.

    Micky,

Your one of those guys who never does anything constructive, but only whines and complains how no one is getting anything done, and this group and that group should be doing better. Yet you do nothing but sit there behind your computer and read/write conspiracy propaganda.

You are a pathetic individual. Do something purposeful. Do have have anything good to say about any groups, or are you against everything?

Let's have an open conversation here. You complain about micky but I don't read any counter arguments. I'd like to read them please.

That is my point, I don't have time or the desire to make counterpoints. I just get sick of people bashing the honest effort of other people, when you truly don't know their motives. If you haven't realized, life is hard. Doing work for people is hard, and made harder by *****s like you guys only looking for ways to second guess their efforts.

I am sure you guys do this in every aspect of your life, assuming everyone is out to get you and put you down. Is that because that is what you would do if you were in a similar position of power? Probably.

I guarantee you your purpose in life is not hatred.

I often imagine how the terrorists in the middle east spend there day. Probably sit around with there terrorist buddies, talking about this and that group is trying to do this or do that, to keep them down, and how they need to do something about it. Eventually they can justify taking innocent human lives because they are so full of hate for others, because they do not trust anyone.
Hatred is a slippery slope my friend. Watch your step please.

I am afraid to say that I agree with Boink.

From what I can see, through limited news bulletins and the internet, is a huge lack of response from the US govt. The richest country in the world has turned its back on its own people, why?? There is only one conclusion because they are poor!! From reports that I have read over 80% of the population in the affected area are reliant on govt support. New Orleans is described at 'the sewer of the US'. You have to admit there is no help for these people, it is now a week since this disaster happened and there are still people waiting to be rescued, there are bodies floating in the waters, and the biggest threat that is faced is fighting off third world dieseases.

Surely even the hardy govt supporters can see that they are doing nothing??

It makes me sick to the stomach to read the post from Micky stating that there are doctors standing by etc, what the (*&% is going on over there??

I am sorry to upset you all but from where I am sitting this is a form of genocide!!

    Watson,

Are you referring to the Cuban doctors. What do you you think, all our doctors died in the flood. The people have plenty of medical professionals right here. And we have accepted help ie. German water pumps. If we need what being offered, we will accept it. But we don't need 1,000 cuban doctors. They wouldn't be able to get them to go home anyways.

Genocide, come on. Pay attention and be realistic.

Canadians, despite obviouos political differences, have offerred aid and military assistance (yes ,I know that would be limited) .... but our ships and airplanes still float/stand ideal while we await a US Goverment response.

Bottom line, I know we have serious trade and philosophical differences but our ships could have sialded five dyas agoa and our planes and supplies maybe six .... It's a sad thing to see people suffering and dieing whilst politics and finger-pointing takes a precedence to just HELPING !!!

No one wishes this on anyone .... How about concentrating the efforts on thosse that are afflicted and postponing the "who's to blame" congressional inquisition ??? LET US HELP !!!!

    Be realistic??

We have seen reports here that there was ONE doctor at the superdome.

Where are your 'plenty' of medical professionals??

"If we need what is being offered we will accept it" - really, then since you dont need the help why have people been waiting for 6 days to be rescued?? Why are people without food and water?? Why are we seeing armed police on the streets pointing guns at people who are trying to gather food for their families???

"They wouldnt beable to get home anyway" What an arrogant thing to say!!

Genocide, a deliberate attempt to wipe out a race of people.
Ok the hurricane was an act of nature, granted, not rescuing people for over 6 days, not allowing people to take food and water for their survival, I could understand if the country affected was a third world one, but we are talking about the USA here.
Do you really think that the response time would of been the same had the act of nature happened in Washington for example??

    Pay attention, be realistic, please
