Who stands up for<br> <i>real</i> American values?

America is the hope of the world.

It's also one of the world's greatest
disappointments.

What has happened to America? Where is
it headed? Can anything turn it around?

Because of America's power and the way
it uses its power, these are important
questions for every person on earth.

Are there American values besides the greed
and arrogance projected but its so called
leaders?

If so, who speaks for American values
today?

America is the hope of the world.

America stands for human rights, freedom of the pursuit of happiness, the ability to choose ones own destiny. A presumption of innocence and a trial of ones peers with protections and rights under The Constitution and Bill of Rights! The freedom to pray to your God in a Temple, Church, or even a Mosque without fear of death or precaution.

America is a nation that must build fences to keep people out, NOT in. It is the desire of people with the dying thirst for freedom and justice that seek us out the most and wish to become AMERICANS for there is NO hope in their own lands…

It's also one of the world's greatest disappointments.

The other nations of the world are the true disappointment. No other country has stepped up to the plate and accepted the task of helping in times of war, famine, disasters, or ease the suffering of the masses to the extent the United States of America and the American people have.

The American people are the melting pot of all the rejects from around the world that have put men on the moon, advanced medicine, science, farming, communications, and more in just a short 200 years over all other countries combined! Yet when America is in need the world except a few allies have turned a blind eye in return. Yet we still give and help others without restrictions.

What has happened to America? Where is it headed? Can anything turn it around?

Compared to what? In the fabric of time we are still a young nation with growing pains. While we still have problems, we struggle to fight bigotry, injustice, and crimes of violence related to a person’s color, faith, or nationality. We fought a Civil War to end slavery while other nations to this day practice, condone, or turn a blind eye to its practice.

If you think that you can turn the American way of life around to that of other nations and their forms of government that condone persecution, torture, the killing for offending ones faith, then move on. We like our way of life, justice, and freedom to meet in fellowship to worship God, not to, or sit and watch the Seahawks get kicked again on the boob tube!

Because of America's power and the way it uses its power, these are important questions for every person on earth.

Americans play by a different set of rules than other Nations that threaten world peace. When major problems break out around the world it is the Americans that they look to 1st for help, as they know we can and will come to their aid. Before you try the U.N. argument, show me just ONE time the U.N. peacekeepers have helped or made a difference. Now if you want to talk about their involvement in raping of women and children the news is full of their accomplishment in that department.

Be thankful that America has such powerful and advanced weapons and their rules of engagement! Unlike the car bomb or low life that straps explosives to his body to kill women, children, and cause destruction without a military target, we can put a 500lb bomb thru the window of a building to take out THAT military target! If you are a terrorist, member of Alkida, or wish America ill will as these low lives you do have something to worry about…

Are there American values besides the greed and arrogance projected but its so called leaders?

Is it greed to want to build a better life for you and your children? Is it greed to try to make a living with your own two hands and profit from your labors? Is it greed to build a better way of life and the products that make your life and others better? Is it greed to have a life where you have the ability to vote for your leaders, laws, and how you live and where? NO! It is the right of every AMERICAN!

The arrogance does NOT lie within the United States or the American people but from those on the outside looking in. We are a nation of free people that decide our own destiny and leaders! “E Pluribus Unum,” out of many, one! Is it arrogance to wipe out disease, hunger, and injustice? Is it arrogance to share with those in time of need and disaster? Is it arrogance to extend human life and the quality of that life? Is it arrogance to send ones own fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, and loved ones off to die for another around the world that you don’t know or even will see? Only if you are one of the many that can’t or won’t!

In the United States of America we have NO so-called leaders. They are elected by the free Americans that can remove them from office with that same right to vote!

Goes for me too... but I don't & am NOT necessarily having to be an American, per se...

Those who stand up and live up to the above mentioned values are themselves richly motivated, deep rooted and thoroughbred freedom seekers that Americans themselves in the USA symbolizes...

By the same virtue, we are gathered all over the world too...

Everyone should stand up for freedom. For now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their Country
