So who likes Karate here? Or Aikido?

Or any of the martial arts?

Nanni,, these threads intended to help others connect with others need a little bit of marketing.

Success is all about resourcefulness, not waiting until you have resources. You attract resources by being resourceful. You attract more faster by massive, simultaneous action than timid, slow, sequential action.

In my younger days, I was fanatical about Tae Kwon Do and trained 6 days per week.
These days, walking the dogs is enough.

Chinese Cultural Arts. Lee style Tia Chi, not widely know as most folk practice Yank style.
We teach stick, long/short, sword, wu shu (throwing arts), chi, li energy sources and developement, the healing arts, diet and exercise, fung shu. Absolutely non contact, learn whirling hands, arms, stances and how to use chi energy against any apponent. Very good for the gentler sexes who have an abundance of such energy. Muscles strength does work here, only against you ;)
Here are a couple of examples.
    1) Flex and bend one of your arms so that it is quite stiff. Now get someone to straighten your arm for you. You will find they can do that, but the effort you place into that arm to keep it in that flexed position stiffens up the whole body, your balance is soon upset and lost plus you will feel that strain in your arm, maybe even damage it.
Try again. This time relax the arm somewhat. Take some deep breathes and direct your energy into the arm such that you visualize it as water flow, leaving at the fingertips. Relax the rest of the body. Your opponent will have a much harder time straightening your arm this time whist you remain in complete balance and control.
    2) Sit on the floor. Have someone raise you by lifting under the arms. Let them feel your weight by raising you several inches or so off the floor.
Try again. This time, for men, turn your open palms to the ceiling and women turn yours facing the floor. I guarantee you will feel heavier on this lift.

Develope the inner selve thro Lee Style Tia Chi, 294 movements of balance and breathing exercises, have fun with Tia Chi dance and long stick patterns.
Learn to feel an opponents movements just through touch, and how to take advantage when it seems you have no advantage :)

Our mentor, Professor Chi Su came to the UK as a small child from China many years ago. He stuck up a relationship with an elderly Chinese gentleman, for to meet one in London in those far off days was quite rare. This gentleman taught Chi Su the secret Lee family art forms that live on today.

The society is now based in Leeds, UK, and hold many classes throughout Europe and the States. We have a good family atmosphere at all of our meets, no shouting or bullies, the only flexed muscles are those getting to the class on time ;)

PM me for more information and contact addresses. If you have no classes in your area, get a few friends together, and we can start one.

Any new topic, unrelated to the PIPs & Bryan Marsden trial will have to be created & posted in the correct Forum in ROLClub.

I am closing this thread and all that are related to the Marsdens/PIPS/Hallotto disguise deceit. For returning members wanting to trace or track related posts concerning the current development some call it a stupid saga, a farce and even a silly & endless waste of time, well whatever anyone feels opinionated by their individual viewpoints or argument, the Trial on the Marsdens is NOT over and far from closure hence, a main sticky thread will cater to that attention

    at this link>>>:

Any further new threads open just for the sake of an individual's ignorance to the progress surrounding the Marsdens or the Trial or anything else on PIPS or PicPay and all the parties involved will find their newly created thread deleted. Issues related to the past and further back in the past, will be posted in the above thread, click that and stay there with your submitted posts please. This is a start of some pruning and spring cleaning on the PIPS related Forum.
