Default How To Force BNM To Inform Pips Members

    Hi to Everyone,

Like tons of other Pips members I have been patiently be sitting on the sidelines reading all kinds of speculation messages since BNM froze the Pips program 11 months ago.

In my humble opinion, I think the time has come to undertake real action. What I mean with real action is not posting any wishfull thinking messages anymore, or posts from which the sources are unreliable or can't be verified.

We shouldn't rely on Brian alone as his life must have been a hell for the past year and he hasn't got the power or resources left to face the arrogant position of BNM.

My brother who is a chief inspector at a special research unit from our national police department, adviced me that the best way to get things moving is to hire a top Malaysian attorney, specialised in financial and bank affairs.

    This attorney could via an official way force BNM to reveal the actual results of their investigation and provide us the following info;

    - What are the real charges against Pips
    - What's the actual situation of the investigation (who is doing what)
    - What did BNM do with the funds they have frozen
    - Why aren't they keeping members updated (by now, they should know the identity and e-mail off ALL Pips members)
    - How much longer is the investigation going to take and what can Pips members expect in the future

I guess lots of members can come up with other questions but the point is that all of us could receive official answers posted in this forum by an attorney hired by US!

Screenshots of official BNM letters can be posted in this forum so that once and for all wishfull thinking and specualtion messages don't cloak up bandwith and space of this forum anymore.

I don't know exactly how many Pips members registered with Rolclub, but I guess we must be a couple of thousand.

If every Pips member's intention is to finally receive REAL INFO and wants to recup one day his investment, what are we waiting for to open a fund where every member puts in $5 or $10 so that we can hire the BEST financial attorney to defend our interests.

I'm selfemployed, am really needed in my business and can't really afford to loose my time, but my principles tell me that it is not normal that big institutions like BNM are not considering thousands of people who invested their hard earned money, and are leaving them outside in the cold, hoping that all of us forget about this and that they can KEEP ALL OF THE FUNDS!

I am ready to fly over to Malaysia to locate a top notch financial attorney so that our mutual interest can be defended once and for all by a specialist. I don't speak Malaysian, but 5 other languages. I'm a fighter and believe me, BNM WILL POST VERY SOON THE INFO WE ARE WAITING FOR SINCE THE LAST 11 MONTHS!!!

Btw, english isn't my mother language at all, but I'm sure that all of you folks know what the point of my post is.

Your points of view are appreciated as well!

    To Justice!!!

Frankly, if BNM can take 11 months to investigate the case,
what makes you so sure that they will speed up, or reveal
anything to us when we take action?

I am not against the idea of using legal means to settle the
case, but I would still perfer to wait for BNM to finally
complete the investigation and make an official announcement.
The case somehow got to be settled, the main issue is the time taken.

I will go for it. Just an idea, maybe the Malaysian members can locate a good
attorney for us, and eventualy do some preliminary talking to him to find out if there are any chances for NB to communicate to us before we go any further.

Wait for a decision to be handed down by BNM first. If they decide that there has been willful wrongdoing then you can make your appeal, right now there is nothing to say that there are charges pending. You could end up paying lawyers to go after something that is perfectly alright in 95% of its operation in the opinion of the investigation.

Don't you think waiting patiently for 11 months isn't cool?

Don't you think that accepting BNM's arrogant attitude for
    11 months isn't cool?

Every serious financial institution in the US and Europe would
have held a press conference but BNM didn't although they are
managing millions if not billions of dollars from us!

What are you afraid off? Stand for your rights man!!!

If BNM perfer a "Close-Door" investigation, and you are
trying to force them to "open" the door for you to see
what is with the investigation, do you think it will work?

If BNM has no intention of revealing any issues in the case,
then you simply cannot force your way through....

Don't agree. Sorry but I must say that: it is total bxxxxt.

No intention of revealing anything BECAUSE NOBODY OF US ASK!!!!
    Don't you see that?
    ITS TIME TO DO SOMETHING.
But as long as some people here think "don't do anything because
Bryan don't wish that or we can do nothing"
then NEVER YOU WILL SEE ANY MONEY BACK!!!

Finding a good lawyer would not be an easy task, just as it isn't here in the U.S., a good one that is. Malaysian members and ex-employees have been all but completely silent, with none that have offered to step up to the plate to help nail down useful information unless you count the "meeting with BNM" thread. It is perhaps a small few among the employees of pipsinc that money laundering pertains, but the innocent ones are in danger as well if it gets to he said/she said so it is no surprise that they have been silent as a group. Anyway, I agree with you that "if" we were to happen upon a good corporate finance lawyer there then we could indeed extract information from BNM, but there's the rub. And who of us wants to foot the bill? Actually, it is Bryan's legal representative that does already have the information we seek, but they're engaged in trying to separate Bryan from direct blame and accountability; they could care less about "our" problem in the matter. It's not a bad idea at any rate but it'll likely not pan out in practical terms. Those of the Malaysian membership have now and have had every opportunity to follow through with a group legal representation, but none have organized to such an end and it doesn't look like any will, leaving it to outsiders to take the ball and run with it...which is also not likely to happen.

    Regards,

Of course we can't expect any help from previous Pips employees as it isn't those people's task to do so.

Most of them skipped on and have another job already.

Finding a good lawyer isn't that hard neither. I don't pretend it's easy, but Malaysia must have had big financial court cases in the past and it's not that hard to find out who were the attorney's involved in these cases.

    Hi,

I know everyone is frustrated, but we are talking about BNM. In Malaysia we hav our own rules and regulation and BNM hav their own rules and regulation. Doesn't mean that you hire a lawyer to giv them pressure and they will reveal all. It will only giv them reason to prolong the investigation. It's the Central Bank in Malaysia that we are talking about not some central bank in US or other countries. Please just let them do the work.
