    Default BTI information

    Hello all,

I just like to start out first of all saying that I am a member of BTI and was a member of pips-usa for a long time before that. Billy has always given very informed updates and seemed very honest when doing so.
The thing is that today an administrator of a forum dealing with pips talked negatively about BTI. He didn't talk negative about BTI in the forum post, he just basically said that a lot of people are trying to take advantage of the huge PIPS membership base and trying to make big profits themselves, and that they found some disturbing information about one of the largest PIPS organizations.
I sent a message to the admin asking about which group it was, to make sure it wasn't BTI, and he sent a message back saying that the information was about BTI. He said though that he was not allowed to disclose any details, which really sucks since I have no information then. I sent back a reply asking if at least he could point in the right direction to look.
Like I said, I have been apart of BTI and PIPS-USA for a while and they seem legit so I don't want to sound like I'm bashing them, I'm just wondering if anybody has any information relating to what I've just posted.

    Thank you,

    Dustin

    Very interesting, Dustin.

I would also be interested in hearing comments about this from whoever
    is "in the know."

I'm a member of BTI too. That is Billy's company...it has been from the beginning. He can promote whatever he wants to his database. I think he's doing all the membership justice by preparing for the worse.

He worked very hard to build that company and database...some people won't see it as his hard work...Some will see it as him not being loyal to p@#$.

My thought on it...If he wants to sale toiletpaper to his database he can. Might kill his database...but I've seen people do worse with their lists of contacts.

Even RoL is building relationships with all of us. If something went south...I wouldn't be surprised to see other programs on here...That's their call.

Damned if you do...Damned if you don't.

    PS...I don't even know Billy.

    I agree with your statements!

I am not a member of BTI, but I would recommend any outside PIPs org to look ahead and prepare for the alternative (worst case senario). Diversify is the key word and any financial membership org. should promote divesification as a prime strategic objective.

However I have been following the PIPS-USA forum and their work, and I personally find NO reason to accuse or blame PIPS-USA for betraying PIPS.

I wish BTI all the best and a successful future!

    Default BTI

I'm not "in the know" but, of course like everyone, I have an opinion about this subject of updates, and "using" members.

You mention updates, my suggestion is to reread any update from anyone and try to take in the message they are sending, are they totally factual, or filled with rumour and speculation? Do the updates answer questions, or give you more reason to question? What is the forum's intentions?

As far as using PIPS members, there are "free" forums, like the one we are in now, that are about PIPS and also caring members that want to help their fellow Pipsters and share all types of information "for free." Then. there are others that have sprung off "business ventures" of the kind that would make a forum owner "wealthy" just by your showing up in their forum.

IMO, it depends on what you are looking for, a forum about PIPS (and other things) or, some other thing entirely????

To better clarify my question. I don't mind in the slightest that Billy is using his database to advertise or to make new investments, in fact I really want to join one of them. My question based off my previous post is if somebody has some inside knowledge on if all of Billy's investments that he is making are legit. Like I said, I believe he is a good guy and everything seems legit but I'm just looking for extra information based off the information from my first post.

Back about 10 years ago...My mentor (Net worth over 300 Million) told me that "if I haven't been sued, talked bad about, faced resistance on a daily basis...Then I'm a Pu$$y and will die broke." btw...all of those things have happened to me.

He held alot back didn't he.

If you are in the limelight...you will have those try to take it away...Perhaps that's exactly why we are all on this forum...Go P!p$ Go.

Sorry if I offended anyone...but that's what he said. Maybe he's just getting alittle resistance.

In order to charge for their services (re: investing) most have to prove they have a history of "making people money" before people actually pay someone for advice. Perhaps some are put off by what appears to be self serving motives?

How many members times how much does it cost to enter the forum?
    300+ members times 10.00 a month?
I have no idea of the real numbers, but certainly it is higher than 300.

Some members are very much aware that many other members just don't have 10.00 a month to put into something that may or may not be of benefit, yet provide the forum owner and perhaps others a substantial living.

Hes promoting GDI, the .WS program.
He shows as having 199 signups in the last few days.
I know cause I just joined with someone else, and they send out the results for the week for signups as there is a huge bonus attached.
So what, he is using his database with another program. Maybe some people will be helped by this one.

    Not likely.
