    Default Owch!

It is Not a good thing the, Caneing. I surely thank Bat$ for the report and Pictures . It is a shame To have a business torn apart Like that. I pray for the health and welfare of Bryan, and Sharon. I beleive their Endevor was on target, but not secure enough to keep the theives away, and the greedy members of his organization, and the government. I hope he fares well In the end.

    Huh? Bryan Marsden a victim????
"The expert at the "Central", Majid Assuri, expected a remarkable improvement in the rate of the dinar, due to the low dollar exchange rate, over the next couple of months."

Very good point Bob. I like your logical and intelligent comment. Not many good posts seen, I guess because many are withholding to post knowing they will be attacked.

I also pray for successful end result, which is more likely after they find real cause for this mess.

It is good reason for all this court delays. Most intelligent part of judge was to keep media and general public out of details.

YB: I just found it odd that whipping would be listed for money laundering as one of the options of sentencing. I don't know if it has ever being applied, but not sure how you would know for sure or not, in cases like this. Just found this most peculiar. I have been educated on the difference between caning and whipping. Neither one suits me, but of the two I think caning would be the less severe punishment. I guess they have it in there for a reason. Thanks for the information.

They would have to find him guilty before they can punish him more ............

than just having him locked up.

Guess they treat him like he is guilty

I hope they find they are mistaken and they set him free

It's six months before the trial starts. I know quite a few who will attend if the dates hold up.

Nothing much will happen before then, except maybe the possibilty that bail will be reduced on May 22nd.

Hmm, i was certain that you mentioned it in an earlier post resulting from some research made but you did not specify if it indeed was related to a case such as BM would be charged for.

Yes, you realised the difference but you underestimated the fear when the choice is imposed....

Caning is the most feared punishment next to the noose of course, whipping is a piece of cake as viewed over there... wait till you see the size/thickness and lenth of the cane... You'd rather wish to be whipped...

Whipping may be consideree equally undesirable for most westerners... but it sends a message home...all the more reason why an individual would fear it most because of the nature an individual is inflicted upon and the personal degradation of one's dignity... thats the purpose behind it....

If you don't believe this for a statistical fact made and proven by those countries maintaining this punishment... have a go at it....

Ok, so much on caning or whipping here... its glorious summer here and the Italian ice creams are going like hot "whipped"-up cakes over the counter...

The heat is getting increasingly abnormal here, must stay cool ....

And I suppose if he is set free that he will immediately dig up the gold and return our funds to us? Whipping is the more likely scenario here and maybe even worth my $1,000 (loss) price of admission to see it.
