This past week my best friend lost her sister to brain cancer and her husband(the two I gifted)just found out on Monday Dec 18th that he is not going to be placed on our Canadian Liver Transplant List. He has a liver disease, and is now dying. I am going to their place to cook a Turkey dinner but merry it isn't. I know exactly how you feel , I was the stem cell donor for my sister 3 years ago . within 2 months of my "donation " they didn't have a measurable trace of cancer (multiple myeloma, bone cancer)then they suppressed everything so she didn't have so much graft versus host reactions , it came back extreme , now she is at stage 4 only dealing with the pain by morphine .
There has never been anyone in my family who had cancer before her , they think it was caused by exposure to radiation from x-ray machines in dental offices before they had protective structures like they currently have, but all of that is not important now only finding something to help her is , she is only 52 which would be young age to die at in my family .
Well I hope you don't feel alone in your struggles & don't be too depressed about the situation , there is only so much we can do then pray or whatever you want & try to be there for them as much as possible while you can .
Life goes on which we must face or be in a worst shape than them . I hope you don't take this in the wrong way & it will be helpfull somehow to you

    Exclamation Flood in Malaysia

For Xmas this year, southern states like Johor and Pahang are experiencing the worst flood in 30years. Over 60,000 people left homeless, without power and clean water. At this time, relief centres are still being setup.

Nearby states of Melaka, Negeri Sembilan are affected too. The East Coast States are also bracing for more bad weather.

Like Katrina, the relevant authorities were found wanting. Damages and ugly human nature surfaced like looting and extortion. What have the world become? So called "rescuers", hold hostage your life and your families in the face of rising flood waters. This is not the Malaysia I know. I am ashamed and appalled.

I want to convey my sympathies to those affected and hope that your life's will return to normal soon. Thing maybe bad for me but for you my fellow malaysian who are facing this, I think that I have it easy.

Second wave of floods hits JB

Heavy rain in the last 24 hours has caused a second wave of floods to hit Johor Baru.

Three relief centres have been opened up to take in more evacuees.

Thanks for the "swelling" news that we also hear much on our national broadcasting news and it daunts on my feasting days back there early in summer in JB too esp. on the many eating haunts in low lying JB centre which I am sure is affected.

There is no mention though as to whether vehicular crossings between the Causeway is impeded? Keep us updated and I will soon know first hand when I fly in over within a few days after today.

Merry Christmas and keep yrself safe and dry by you....

Default Here are some saying to take us into 2007

I'll just let the sayings speak for themself. These are powerful sayings for us to think about.

"It's not that I'm so smart; it's just that I stay with problems longer."
    -Albert Einstein

The poorest man is not without a cent, but without a dream. ...unknown

Wealth is not his that has it, but his that enjoys it. ...Benjamin Franklin

The main source of our wealth is goodness. The affections and the generous qualities that God admires in a world full of greed. ...Alfred A. Montapert

"Make no small plans, because they have no power in stirring the soul of men" - Victor Hugo

"Speak from your heart and don't worry about how it's going to be taken and ask with the intention of doing the highest good for everyone involved."
    ~ Dr. Gary Arthur

Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.
    ~ Warren Buffett

"Who dares nothing, need hope for nothing."
    Johann Friedrich Von Schiller

"The greatest risk is the risk of riskless living."
    Stephen Covey

"Don't be afraid your life will end; be afraid that it will never begin."
    Grace Hansen

Just a few of the sayings I like and hope you will enjoy thinking about also.

To all that could still and want to, make it work despite the PIPs adventure going amiss... and make it positive for yourself especially and with this message for Christmas, this is for all those I have come to know and it was truly a pleasure for there are too many to name here, and YOU deserve a Merry Christmas being a once a PIPSter...!!!

I will be closing this thread and a string of others as well that are rather repetitive and only leads to confusion and disarray for returning members wanting to trace or track related posts concerning the current development some call it a stupid saga, a farce and even a silly & endless waste of time, well whatever anyone feels opinionated by their individual viewpoints or argument, the Trial on the Marsdens is NOT over and far from closure hence, a main sticky thread will cater to that attention

    at this link>>>:

Any further new threads open just for the sake of an individual's ignorance to the progress surrounding the Marsdens or the Trial or anything else on PIPS or PicPay and all the parties involved will find their newly created thread deleted. Issues related to the past and further back in the past, will be posted in the above thread, click that and stay there with your submitted posts please. This is a start of some pruning and spring cleaning on the PIPS related Forum.
