I've just read through all 16 pages. You know, I've been away for a long long time and if anything the quality of the membership here has deteriorated.
The orgasmic euphoria being demonstrated by so many sad and bitter people over this news is just disgusting. I don't understand how someone can be so filled with hate to get so much pleasure over someones misfortune regardless of whether they brought it on themselves or not. How sad for you.
[edited, i think there is no need to use font 5 when we can see it still with font 2. Admin]
I couldnt agree more. I have mixed feelings and since I met Bryan Im somewhat taken back as to his personal appearance. That does make me sad. As mentioned Bryan has yet to prove his case. I dont feel nastiness helps anyone. We all need to be mindful of the law or karma. Lets all try to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Yes many are angry, upset and lost much. We are all adults, we made our choice and each of us joined Pips in the hope of personal gain. We knew there was risk involved. please take yourseleves back to your initial thoughts when you joined.
I believe many PIPS-members have had the Stockholm syndrome for years know, defending their hostage-taker in almost everything. The hostage has off course been the money, the ROL - and the dream to one day earn a lot of money.
This seems to happen in every Ponzi-operation. People got furious when Charles Ponzi himself was arrested. Albanians rioted in the streets when the government there shut down the investment schemes that made people loose everything they owned.
I think there is lessons to be learned from looking back at the history. Read about:
None of us can know for sure but here is my opinion:
BM had a seed of an idea. He thought he could create something exciting online, for himself and his family, for all us "loaners" and yes, I do believe for good causes. I believe he had an idea and ran with it, without really thinking through the consequences of setting himself up as an inv***ment opportunity, without the legal framework.
I used to work for a bank years ago. Have you any idea how much legal time and paperwork is involved in making sure a bank complies with the myriad rules and regs? Can you understand why we are all so familiar with the banks in the high street? It is hugely expensive and a legal minefield - plus VERY risky - to set yourself up as any kind of bank or financial institution.
Back in those wonderful days when we all hoped we would get rich, and we watched that lovely ROL climbing [only ever virtually but it was nice to dream for a while], if someone had come out and said that BM did not comply with any of the necessary laws etc, would there have been a lynching party? Or would everyone have said that's what makes him our hero? He's a normal guy like us, a Robin Hood figure thumbing his nose at the establishment that normally fobs us off with 5% per year, if we're lucky. This guy is offering us far more by being creative and taking a personal risk.
I do think that would have been the opinion. After all, I don't suppose PIPS was the only online investment for most of us. I naively came into this game in the heyday of all those daft doublers. I didn't put money into the blatant ones as it didn't sit well with me that even if I DID make money it would be at the expense of others. But there were others [and I bet some of you were there with me] that went out of their way to tell us they were NOT doublers - they had vague outside investments that they couldn't tell us about as someone might steal their secret etc. If you had suggested at the time those were lies and these programs were doublers you would have been lynched. Now? The program I am particularly thinking about has reinvented itself unseccessfully and now all admit it WAS a doubler in the past and it had to change or go under. The thing is, the big money just isn't there in its new re-invented, legllay legit state because in real life that is usually the case. I bet Bill Gates never got sucked into any doubler scheme.
My point is, when you put money into anything online; past doublers, HYIPs, anything else [even PIPS] are you expecting that the person[s] at the helm has all the legal paperwork to support the fact that they are running this financial program? Or - if you stop long enough to think about it - do you understand this can't possibly be the case, in which case IF YOU ARE LUCKY you can make a quick buck before the thing is found out and closed down.
That is the reality sadly and each one of us has to take responsibility for the fact that we participate anyway. None of these high return programs are legal and most will fold pdq. I have put money into lots of things in the past. I have never made money with any of them [though sometimes there was gorgeous and fantastic virtual money to look at in back offices. You couldn't draw it out because there were server problems, or you had to wait for inve***ments to mature etc <yeah right> ]. I have at best broken even.
I have learnt my lesson. Sadly, I don't believe there is a legit way to make money online. Sure, if you're lucky you can make a quick buck in a ponzi, HYIP etc but it is always at the expense of others and is never legal.
Sadly that is what I believe.
And Bryan and Sharon? I think they were just the same as the thousands of program owners out there who will tell you they truly care about their members making money, and good causes etc. I actually think in Bryan's case that may have been true - though I don't know for sure and have never been a flag waver [I'm from the UK and we don't tend to do so much of that blind cheerleading].
What we know now though, is that he was inexperienced, naive, unqualified and unable to keep PIPS going long term. Very sad but true.
Good luck to all of you who continue to dabble in online Invest***nts. Just be aware that ALL the program owners have to be looking over their shoulders, as not a one of them has the necessary licences and legal framework to make them legit [even if they claim they do] and if you are being caustic about BM, remember your favourite program owner is no better and just about all programs will shut down sooner or later - because none of them are truly legit.
Some of them just sound so darned good for a while - and different, as did PIPS. Remember that if it was possible to offer this kind of return to the masses EVERY bank would do it, as they would know that they would have punters queing round the block. Why don't they? Because it is either not legal, or not sustainable, or both.
Bran and his wife look pretty bad in the pictures and one thing's for sure - I bet he now regrets the day he ran with his naive idea. I don't like to see anyone hurting because they made a mistake. Not any of us, and actually not even BM, though I lost money [and calling his wife ugly etc is immature, unneccesary and actually wrong I think]. I feel sad when I look at those pictures because I see a human being in distress. I don't think he was evil - just misguided.

Yes, I did expect the guy at the head of PIPS to have all the bases covered... because, through all these meetings, forums and fancy conventions he always assured everyone that he had it all covered. We were led to believe that legally he was in a good place... Thinking back, he had an answer for every 'potential negative'.
This was and is the ONLY online investment/money making program that I've ever been involved in. I waited and waited and waited.... Listened to the meetings.. watched the DVDs from the conventions...etc This clean cut guy in his nice suits layed it on thick. I think it's safe to say that a lot of us are not savvy or habitual internet investors. I know a lot of us are people from all walks of life who believed the promises and reassurances that Marsden threw at us.

Thank you Raine
I was appalled browsing through the postings hailing them all kinds of ugly descriptions... I told Marek of this too and my displeasure about it.
Please, lets stop this degrading of another just because he did what you may feel he deserve whats coming...but calling her as such and or wishing the worst of evils for him... that is going lower than the offender...so please, calm and compose your anger with the facts that he has been legally confronted by the authorities...he did not put up a scene except his right to claim a trial and lets just respect that dignity for all involved.
This incarceration however mild or deliberate is becoming distasteful...and I for ROLClub certainly DON't endorse this at all...
I know and realised, many want to see blood...but does that make you any better slinging easy shots of this nature from a distance with anonymity???
I think the pictures themselves being repeatedly copypasted is a deliberate act to belittle the couple and I for one am sad by that and will soon have them deleted...but will leave one standing... the message and point was carried and seen...repeating it doesn't make the case for multiple sentences and comdemnation.... his trial alone will be a heavy toll on his personal esteem or whatever is left of it...I see that as punishment in itself and I can relate to the pain he is bearing for them both... so, please post what you wish to say or add but stop copy pasting the pics all over repeatedly... thank-you.
YB. - cheers to the RC CARE Group and have some compassion for B & S despite what they have been accused of doing...

Has anyone here ever heard of the IRS? It is Not a U.S. Gov org - it is wholly owned by the World Bankers, and they are pushing for All "Offshore" funds to be monitored, since the Queen of England's personal bank is suffering loss as those funds are not laundered through her bank! The IRS is international in scope, and tied right in to the IMF. So, if you want to help the little guy, beware of the BIG GUY!
The only 2 intelligent posts I found in this pile of 19 pages full of BS and crap!
Innocent until proven guilty in the US/UK or elsewhere in our todays western "modern" and "civilized" world?? May I ask where you guys live?? Don't you still have realized who actually has the power? Do you think that the powers to be, and I don't mean those poor puppets like Bush or Bliar, will ever permit the average Joe to become rich and thus independent?? Don't you realize that the staged 9/11 was the blueprint, the start for a completely new world order? "Anti money laundering", just like "terrorist" are words you can really stretch and which became so popular since the new laws have been passed.
Do you really believe everything what is being told in the news? Do you actually have your own brain to think?
Are you guys really so naive and blind or do you only act???
Most of you "modern" and "educated" guys have no clue, really absolutely no clue at all what is going on in this fuc**ing world!
FINALLY WAKE UP and see what is going on!! If we don't get our money back don't thank BM for it but BNM and the very powers to be in this world who created and own the monetary and whole economical system and who decide what is happening, how and where it is happening. From inventing the 9-5 slave treadmill for us, raise certain people to power in other countries or take them down again, start wars in other countries and end them whenever they want, who control all lobbies, the society, the thinking of the people and everything. Those snakes, who hide behind religions, monarchy, industrialists, bankers, those are the ones you should blame but actually everybody should blame themselves (including me) first cause we have permitted and granted them all the power!! We gave up our thinking and responsibility to third parties, to strangers we never elected and don't know who they are. It is no surprise the world has come to that situation we face nowadays where all our civil and human rights are torn away, always only bit by bit so that many don't realize it, everything under the excuse of "Anti-terrorist" and "Anti-Money-Laundering" and "Anti I don't know whatever", of course only to protect us *lol*. Hello???
When will you realize that insidious game those snakes play with us??
And to all those who wish BM and S to go to hell or whatever: the one who thinks of himself he's completely innocent shall throw the first stone!

Plus, don't forget boys and girls the world does not want the common folk to become financially self sufficient.
This is just one persons oppinion but I have seen this type of thing happen to an organization here. They have the power and authority to prove them wrong.
i kissed my grand goodbye when they first started the takeover. Not one of these programs will ever end in the glory they intend until we change the banking system. It's the risk we take to play the game. take it or leave it.
