If you had that Tiger pinta back then... then I'm getting my next Tiger walkover in Thailand again pretty soon when you return after Christmas and I wish you and all the ones you share with... A mighty Merry week in the coming days into the New Year!!!
To all that could still and want to, make it work despite the PIPs adventure going amiss... and make it positive for yourself especially and with this message for Christmas, this is for all those I have come to know and it was truly a pleasure for there are too many to name here, and YOU deserve a Merry Christmas being a once a PIPSter...!!!
I just want to say a few things. I was reading through these latest posts, and I am not sure where I read about losing hopes and dreams over the holidays. I gifted my best friends via pips back when...It gave them hope and security. This past week my best friend lost her sister to brain cancer and her husband(the two I gifted)just found out on Monday Dec 18th that he is not going to be placed on our Canadian Liver Transplant List. He has a liver disease, and is now dying. I am going to their place to cook a Turkey dinner but merry it isn't. When I watch the news and see what 'money' can get you and what you can get away with...I feel for my friends. They have nothing, no money and no hope. He is on a small disablity fund which covers only the rent...I do not care at this point about Bryan and his three meals and bed. I am sorry I am usually just a reader here, but I guess in my powerlessness to help friends I have known for over twenty years, I needed to vent. May God Bless us all and keep us warm, fed and healthy.

It is indeed a sad moment to read your post and you are right to vent away which we hope could relieve you in the least....
With that meal you make ready and serve, may the lOrd give grace to you all at the table with the joy he brings in all your hearts both with smiles and cherished past to remember the good life we all have and still have for those still able to.

There is HOPE and there is the will to strive on... Bryan Marsden somehow took it away by letting us believe in hois BIG way that was NOT planned to come anyway... just serving a few fortunate and early withdrawees that were pretty lucky, and that was how that PIPs system worked on... clouded with immaculate promises and laced with deception around it...

In a nutshell, we bet on the wrong horse. We were led astray with promises of riches beyond our wildest dreams. But when the euphoria left us and the reality of the situation kicked in. We were left with picking up our broken dreams. Nothing can come close to what we could have had with PIPS and that's why its so hard to get started again. Believe me, I face it everyday as I earn nickel by nickel back what was lost. I urge all the members to start doing something. Make a positive step towards recovery both spiritually, mentally and physically.
I truly am sorry for your friends condition, I know some people in the same situation too. Its hard to watch them suffer and grow weak in the coming days. But they are lucky to have a true friend like you. No 2% could ever replace the kindness that you are showing here.
I hope that by this time next year 07, we will all be rid of our financial burdens and let those who are sick be well.
