I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved ones...but like Deb said they are up there playing with Jesus. Children always have a way to touch our lives...the best part is to see the world through their eyes. I know that the beautiful memories and a strong faith will help you see through the darkness days.
The lost of a loved one always put things in a different perspective. The dreams of pips is broken....but we must never stop carrying the dreams we have in our hearts...in spite of these obstacles.
you know we can change the world...but we can change our little corner and touch the people who comes into our lives...one day at a time. Something like pay it forward and before you know it we change a whole town
I wish there was a separate thread for religious rambling. I read this thread and similar threads to get up to date info on the subject at hand.
I don't want nor do I need to be preached for or to! Period.
Ever since pre-pips - the GW days for those in the know - When the program(s ) were on their way upwards it was God bless this, and God bless that - even Suzanne got her share of the worshiping. Now when pips and it's founder(s) are spiralling down and off the charts, here ya all come again boosting new excuses to spread the Gospel. God bless that and God bless this all over again.
Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her, "How could God let something like this Happen?" (regarding Katrina)
Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.
And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?"
In light of recent events... terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.
Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school .The Bible says Thou Shalt Not Kill, Thou Shalt Not Steal, and Love Your Neighbor As Yourself. And we said OK.
Then Dr. Ben***** Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.
Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.
Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."
Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell. Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how you can send jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace. Funny how someone can be so fired up for Christ on Sunday, but be an invisible Christian the rest of the week!
Are you laughing?
Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they WILL think of you for sending it. Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.
Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it... No one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.
te00, seemed too good a chance to miss this post. Do reflect. eman.
So my comments are insensitive and unwelcome. That may be so. Unfortunately, so are all the religous rambling as well. In my book.
If this was a religous forum, I'd just stay away. Simple. However, this is about more earthly matters, and I come here to seek info on the said subject. You wanna get comfort and pity for your personal and family tragedy, I can understand that. But there's a perfect tool for that - it's called:
CREATE NEW THREAD!
Now that can't be too hard, can it ? Why do I have to scroll thru 16 pages, with less than 1 page worth of info?? And you all know this is not a 'new' issue.
No, I'm not insensitive - just fed up with all the bull around.
This tread is named "couple-charged-money-laundering" - NOT - "OH, I" GOD BLESS "am" OH LORD "unlucky" GLORIOUS DIVINE "in" JESUS MY SAVIOR "my" HALLELUJA "life" - please feel sorry for me too. OK ?
I too lost my little granddaughter on the 8th of August. She was 6 1/2years old and had a very nasty illness called "Neiman Pic" type C it's very rare and very deadly. I will read up on the illness that your sweet little grand daughter had. I am so very sorry for your loss of your baby girl. My granddaughter's name was Tristin and I know that she is running and playing in heaven with Jesus and no doubt with Erin too.
But you and I have been Blessed to have had the honor to be a grandparent of these two little beings. My little Tristin has touched so many lives and like your little one everyone that she had contact with from the Many Hospitals, nursing homes and the many ambulances rides that she was on everyone remembers her as a fighter and a presious Gift from God that we had for a few years on this earth.
Let God give you the strength to get through these ruff times he has the answer for everything that we need.
Lord Bless you and your Family,
roper (Deb)
I feel for you both my friends, I too have suffered such a loss. My gandaughter Tabitha was taken from us six years ago from S.I.D.S. Finding her lifeless body was the most devastating event in all my years and I still have difficulty in coming to terms with the loss and the understanding "WHY"?.
Nothing hurts like the loss of an infant. It is something that one never forgets or finds solace from.

I'm not a religious man. I also don't like religious mutterings. I think they are out of place.
But you are still an insensitive *****. Who cares if it's in the "wrong" place.
