I maybe just an old fool but with so much money involved I would be interested to know where it will go if they are convicted. This bank really does not have a very good reputation nor does the country when it comes to large sums of money. Or has that disappeared already?

In the Star it says "They claimed trial to all charges", does this mean they claimed guilty to all charges or they are going to take them to trial on all charges? Also, what do they mean by "He fixed Sept 13 for mention"? Hope someone can explain. Thank you.
I assume they mean that a hearing is set for Sept. 13. I guess it was translated wrongly. I don't know what "They claimed trial to all charges" means, if it has to do with their attitude or the charges themselves. I would assume they will plead not guilty though.
Also we should keep in mind that they are charged with crimes, it doesn't mean they are guilty of them. Though it doesn't look good.
Also, who is Sharon? Is that Bryan's English name for his wife??
I think only a handful of you have properly understood the charges. It says that, "committed the offences by RECEIVING money that were proceeds of unlawful activities". Meaning the money WE sent to invest in PIPS! Have any of you been asked where you got the money you invested? I sure haven't.
I don't suppose we'll ever know the truth about it all but I do find these particular charges extremely odd.

PIPS was a scam created by Bryan Marsden. Per usual, a sucker is born every minute. If it looks too good to be true, it generally is.....I hope they throw the book at them. They deserve everything single thing that they get.
I'm pretty sure that Sharon is the name she went by. At least that's what I was told by friends of mine that had also invested and met them several times.
