I, Too put a bunch of money into PIPS, and I still believe that PIPS will come through. But in my case I didn't borrow money or create any debts because Bryan stated right out of the gate not to do that and that this was "High Risk" investing. I have always considered that until I had money in my hand I didn't have any money. Guess at least I did that part right. As with everybody else I really want this to work. If it does I will be retired at the end of 2006. If all of this disappears I will probably work an extra year and have a much tighter budget. I still have faith in Bryan and even if this fails I feel that Bryan did everything within his power to try to make PIPS work. Bill

This is general post to any who might feel they are the only ones in a pickle; because you are not.

I feel sorry for those who have got drama's with debt and no pips money to carry you through. Your not on your own. Friends of ours who got us into pips have fallen for the same trap of counting their chickens before they hatch. Now they have a car loan and many other credit debts simply because they expected Pips to kick in before the birds came home to roost. Their income simply can't carry their finacial burdens.

As the Bible states King Solomon's words in Ecclesiasties 9 : 11 & 12 -

"I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race and the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise one also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favour; because time and unforseen occurence befalls them all . For man does not know his time, just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly."

Unfortunately - for my partner and I - we have lost literally "everything" through the family courts and our circumstances - including my two houses I had been part ownership in with my previous wife - and now since last December ( 2004 ) My partner and I are both bankrupt [and have no debts at all] and so we are for the time being unable to get into such another situation - as no one will touch us finacially - at least while we are bankrupt. Most people only wnat to screw you because you have money. When you have no money - no body wants to know you which can be a blessing in disguise. Its a clayton's form of asset protection - appear penniless and nobody will want to bother with you as there is nothing in it for them.

As I recently had my marriage break up, after our Cystic fibrosis son died and then my mother died ofter being long term ill; leaving me just enough to buy a business, but not a house. I bought a business from a "trusted member" of 'The Christian Businessmen's Association' and got screwed - ( 2 sets of Books). This resulted in my Landlord shutting our shop doors 9 months later and forcing us to evacuate the premises within a few hours notice. The business simply was not making the income it promised by the previous owner. As a result I lost all my mother's inheritance. And so I was sent bankrupt - not willingly - and have simply given up on doing anything to help myself, after two bitter marriage breakups, a child death, both my parents dead at a young age, and now bankruptcy and the loss of my possesions and ending up on antidepressants; I simply don't give a stuff any more about bettering myself - until the system shows me it is working for the little person. As I have lost faith in most people it will take time. Work in my field of electronics - is difficult to get, where I live - hence the buying of the business - and with my partner formerly and iceskater - well september the 11th fixed that and shut down the rinks so she can't even teach. Her Iceskating has also left her with her with serious knee and ankle problems. We are both now in our late fourties and approaching retirement age anyway - with small health problems now comming to the fore.

A few weeks after our bankruptcy was filed, we were charitably set up with a PIPS account as we could never afford to go into it; back in February 2005 - hopefully to inculcate some faith and hope back into us - that "others do care". And of course as our luck would have it - The day our PIPs account was due to mature (on August 16th 2005 ) - guess what ??? - the PIPS site went down - leaving us in another emotional pit. We were led to believe PIPS would "save" our situation.

I now don't work and refuse too - after what has happened over a period of time - as I will be screwed with high child support costs and taxes, leaving me without enough to survive and pay the rent. I have moved house 12 times since my marriage breakup in 2000 leaving me with a lot of anger as a result; my partner at least 10 times. and we hate moving house. Our financial problems bought us to another state to live with my mother - otherwise we would be on the street. The reason for buying the business was to get an income so I could buy my partner and I a basic house and re-establish ourselves after our marrage breakups with her two kids and myself. Compounding that I havent seen my 3 kids - so there is no relationship between them and I - for nearly five years as they are interstate, and I need to go back to court to get access - more money.

I now have strong issues with the new government industrial relation laws comming into force in our country. This is resulting in riots and civil disobediance in many places; because the system will be screwing everyone simply to make our country more competive in the world market - so they tell us. For me I see those buying Iraqi Dinars are simply cashing in on others misfortune ( the Iraqi people ), just like solicitors and many business tycoons; and so to me those investors, are just apart of the greedy system we live in - Self seeking capitalists supporting a New World Order.

I don't have any personal grevience with PIPs; or those that have attempted to "help" us but I have greivences with the unfairness of the system we live under and the way many get conned into situations - either by others or their own inexperience; which after the horse is bolted you can't legally do anything about. Once your bankrupt - in our country - you are not legally able to fight your case - you have no money to pay a solicitor and the government happily pays it out ( your debts and cancells your taxes ) without any enquiry as to how the bankruptcy occurs - in other words nobody wants to know - unless your a terrorist.

And so I feel for all you who have gotten into a pickle, my story could go on for many more pages; but I think my point is made. Becareful and don't believe a story on its face value. It is human nature to think of self and ones own needs and desires before all others. Because of this selfish greed - Trust No-one; as the system out there is well and truly corrupt.

Any new topic, unrelated to the PIPs & Bryan Marsden trial will have to be created & posted in the correct Forum in ROLClub.

I am closing this thread and all that are related to the Marsdens/PIPS/Hallotto disguise deceit. For returning members wanting to trace or track related posts concerning the current development some call it a stupid saga, a farce and even a silly & endless waste of time, well whatever anyone feels opinionated by their individual viewpoints or argument, the Trial on the Marsdens is NOT over and far from closure hence, a main sticky thread will cater to that attention

Any further new threads open just for the sake of an individual's ignorance to the progress surrounding the Marsdens or the Trial or anything else on PIPS or PicPay and all the parties involved will find their newly created thread deleted. Issues related to the past and further back in the past, will be posted in the above thread, click that and stay there with your submitted posts please. This is a start of some pruning and spring cleaning on the PIPS related Forum.
