Careful of the mice....some may get as BIG as kitties too....LoL. ...oops, this kitty learns fast though

Thought I'd introduce the cat we just "rescued". He has been hanging around my aprents place for the last 8 months. He'd sneak in the cat door and eat their cats food during the middle of the night. I guess he was starting to get a lot braver and fights were breaking out among the cats. I went down to the shelter and got a trap. Shelter said if I caught the cat they couldn't take it and the SPCA is overloaded with cats. We decided if we caught it I'd see how it got along with my group (we have 2 large dogs 2 parrots and a 5 month old baby). We caught the cat within 5 minutes of setting the trap and I brought the poor thing to my place. He was all skin and bones he looked a mess. I kept him in our garage until I could get him to the vet. Vet checked him out and turns out he is a Polydactyl or Hemmingway cat. He has 24 toes!! His feet are just amazing. After a flea bath, shots and getting nuetered (I was popular with him) he is turning out to be a great cat. He's probably just a year old. We've named him Ernie (the parrot loves to call him!)
I can't get over someone would just dump an animal and make it fend for itself but now Ernie is living the good life. He has realized dogs can be his friends.

I just noticed I really need to dust the hardwood floor! LOL!!!

Or he'll be sniffing ALLL over ya bedroom and behind ya pillow while you are snoozing away...nice fella there and Ernie suits him fine too!!!
